Verfahren zur Herstellung Fon Diapositiven für die Erzeugung von Tiefdruckformen. Nach dem meist gebräuchlichen Ver fahren zur Herstellung von Tiefdruckformen wird von einer Bildvorlage ein transparentes Negativ und von diesem nach allfälliger Re- touche ein Diapositiv hergestellt.
Letzteres wird mit den zu der betreffenden Druckseite gehörigen Schriftzeichen, welche sich auf eurer transparenten 'Unterlage befinden, auf einer Glasplatte montiert, und die so gebil dete Montageplatte wird auf lichtempfind liches, bereits mit einem Raster versehenes Pigmentpapier kopiert und durch Abklat schen auf die Druckform übertragen.
Die Bildräume auf der Druckform werden ab gedeckt und; zunächst die Schrift ;geätzt; dann werden die Stellen, an welchen sich die Schrift befindet, abgedeckt und die Bilder geätzt; eine gleichzeitige Ätzung ist nicht angängig, da die .Schrift bereits nach etwa 10 Minuten genügend geätzt ist, während die Atzdauer der Bilder etwa<B>30</B> Minuten be trägt. Ferner ist bekannt, von den für eine Druckseite bestimmten Bildern und Schrift photographische Aufnahmen zu machen und dieselben im richtigen Format und Anord nung als Positiv-Bilder für die Druckseite zusammenzustellen.
Von dieser zusammen gestellten Druckseite wird eine Halbfon-Auf- nahme von den Bildern bei abgedeckter Schrift gemacht, sowie eine Strichaufnahme für die Schrift bei abgedeckten Bildern. Von den erhaltenen zwei Negativen wird dann ein Diapositiv durch getrenntes und aufein anderfolgendes Exponieren des Schriftnega- tivs und des Bildnegativs hergestellt, wel ches dann auf gewöhnliche Art auf Pigment papier kopiert und mittelst des letzteren auf die Druckform übertragen wird. Schrift und Bild werden hier gleichzeitig geätzt.
Diese Verfahren bringen die Nachteile, dass sie einen grossen Aufwand an photo graphischen Platten oder Filmen, an Licht und Arbeitszeit erfordern, welche Nach- teile durch das Verfahren nach vorliegender Erfindung behoben werden sollen.
Nach diesem Verfahren macht man von einer Bildvorlage, zum Beispiel durch eine photographische Aufnahme, auf eine nicht transparente, mit lichtempfindlicher Schicht versehene Unterlage, zum Beispiel auf Pa pier, Blech etc., ein Negativbild und mon- tiert das so erhaltene Negativbild, gege benenfalls zusammen mit negativen Schrift zeichen, in der gewünschten Anordnung für die Druckform und stellt von diesem Ne gativ auf photographischem Wege ein Dia positiv her.
Man kann bei der Herstellung des Dia positives eine Rasterplatte beim Photogra phieren vorschalten; um ein gerastertes Dia positiv zu erhalten.
Das Diapositiv kann dann auf bekannte Art mittelst Pigmentpapier auf die Druck form übertragen werden, auf welcher dann Bild und Schrift im gleichen Arbeitsvorgang geätzt werden können.
Anstatt ein gerastertes Diapositiv herzu stellen, kann auch der Raster auf bisherige Art auf Pigmentpapier kopiert und auf die Druckform übertragen werden.
Die negativen Schriftzeichen, das heisst weisse Schrift auf dunklem Grund, können auf irgendeine Art, zum Beispiel durch Drucken mit weisser Farbe oder auf photo graphischem Wege etc. erhalten werden.
Die Herstellung der Diapositive nach dem vorliegenden Verfahren bietet ganz we sentliche Vorteile über die bisherigen Ver fahren in bezug auf Ersparnis an photogra- phischem Material, Licht und Arbeitszeit. Es ist nur eine einzige Montage vorzu nehmen, ebenso nur eine einzige Aufnahme des zusammengestellten Druckblattes; Pas- serschwierigkeiten sind ,daher ausgeschaltet.

These methods have the disadvantages that they require a large amount of photographic plates or films, light and working time, which disadvantages are intended to be remedied by the method according to the present invention.

The negative characters, that is, white writing on a dark background, can be obtained in any way, for example by printing with white ink or by photographic means, etc.
The production of the slides according to the present process offers very important advantages over the previous process in terms of saving on photographic material, light and working time. There is only a single assembly to be made, as well as only a single recording of the assembled printing sheet; Passport difficulties are therefore eliminated.
