Description

  

  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines neuen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen in  Wasser löslichen Farbstoff erhält, der vorzugs  weise die tierische . Faser in     gelbstichig     braunen licht- und     walkechten    Tönen anfärbt,  wenn man ein Molekül     2.6-Dihalogen-3.5-          dinitrotoluol    mit zwei Molekülen     2'-4'-Di-          methyl-4-aminodiphenylamin-2-sulfosäüre    kon  densiert.

           Beispiel:     25,1 Gewichtsteile     2.6-Dichlor-3.5-dinitro-          toluol    werden mit 500 Teilen Wasser, in dem  30 Gewichtsteile     calcinierte    Soda gelöst sind,  und mit 58,4 Gewichtsteilen     2'-4'-Dimethyl-          4-aminodiphenylamin-2-sulfosäure    vereinigt.  Nach Zugabe von 1/2 Gewichtsteilen Kupfer  sulfat wird 20 Stunden gekocht.

   Dann wird  die entstandene tief rotbraun gefärbte Lösung  filtriert und der     Farbstoff        ausgesalzen.    Dem       Farbstoff    kommt folgendes Formelbild zu

    Das     Natronsalz    stellt ein schwarzbraunes  Kristallpulver dar, welches sich in konzentrier  ter Schwefelsäure     mitgrünlicher        Farbelöst.    Beim  Erwärmen schlägt die Farbe nach violett um.  Der Farbstoff ist in Alkohol mit brauner  Farbe etwas löslich, in Wasser löst er sich sehr    leicht mit rotbrauner Farbe. Auf der     Woll-          faser    erzeugt er     gelbstichig    braune Töne.



  Process for the preparation of a new dye. It has been found that a water-soluble dye is obtained which is preferably animal. Fibers are dyed in yellowish brown lightfast and whackfast shades if one molecule of 2,6-dihalo-3,5-dinitrotoluene is condensed with two molecules of 2'-4'-dimethyl-4-aminodiphenylamine-2-sulfonic acid.

           Example: 25.1 parts by weight of 2,6-dichloro-3,5-dinitro toluene are mixed with 500 parts of water in which 30 parts by weight of calcined soda are dissolved, and with 58.4 parts by weight of 2'-4'-dimethyl-4-aminodiphenylamine-2- sulfonic acid combined. After adding 1/2 part by weight of copper sulfate, the mixture is boiled for 20 hours.

   Then the resulting deep red-brown colored solution is filtered and the dye is salted out. The following formula applies to the dye

    The sodium salt is a black-brown crystal powder, which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a greenish color. When heated, the color changes to purple. The dye is somewhat soluble in alcohol with a brown color, in water it dissolves very easily with a red-brown color. It creates yellowish brown tones on the wool fiber.

PATENT CLAIM: A process for the preparation of a new dye, characterized in that one molecule of 2,6-dihalo-3,5-diriitrotoluene is condensed with two molecules of 2'-4'-dimethyl-4-amino-diphenylamine-2-sulfonic acid. The sodium salt is a black-brown crystal powder that dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a greenish color. When heated, the color changes to purple. The dye is somewhat soluble in alcohol with a brown color, in water it dissolves very easily with a red-brown color. It creates yellowish brown tones on the wool fiber.
