Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Antbracenderivates. Es wurde gefunden, dass' man ein neues Anthracenderivat, die Anthracen- 1-thio- glykol-2-karbonsäure, erhält, wenn man auf die 1,2-Merkaptoanthracenkarbonsäure eine Monohalogenessigsäure einwirken lässt.
Die Anthracen-l-thioglykol-2-karbonsäure bildet ein hellgelbes Pulver, sie löst sieh in Soda lösung mit bräunlichgelber, in konzentrier ter Schwefelsäure mit braunroter,., bald nach braun umschlagender Farbe. Die neue Ver bindung wird zur Herstellung von Farbstof fen verwendet.
<I>Beispiel</I> \ 12_ Teile 1-Merkaptoanthracen-2-karbon- säure, 70 Teile Alkohol und 5 Teile Mono chloressigsäure werden zusammen nach Zu gabe von 8 Teilen Kalihydrat einige Zeit gerührt. Hierauf wird die klare Lösung mit konzentrierter Salzsäure sauer gestellt, von ausgeschiedenen anorganischen Salzen und Nebenprodukten filtriert, der Alkohol im Vakuum verdampft, der, Rückstand mit " Sodalösung extrahiert und das alkalische Ex- trakt ausgesäuert.
