Die bekannten Felgen dieser Art besitzrn den Nachteil, dass die Kupplung der Teile miteinander nur in der Weise erfolgen kann, dass der Schlauchmantel verhältnismässig sehr stark in der Richtung der Radare zu sammengepresst wird, ausserdem besassen die zu kuppelnden Ringe genau passende Füh rungen und beide berührten den Schlauch mantel auf verhältnismässig grosser Fläche. Aus diesen Gründen konnten die bis jetzt bekannt gewordenen Felgen nicht für die Jetzt mehr und mehr, insbesondere für Last- wagen, zur Anwendung kommenden, sehr starken, schweren und sehr oft noch armier ten Reifen benutzt werden;
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel, des Erfindungs gegenstandes ist in: Fig. 1 im Querschnitt, in Fig. ? im Schnitt nach der Linie @I-li an Fig. l,. in Fig. 3 in Vorderansicht eines der Teile, in Fig. .1 in perspektivischer Darstellung dargestellt: Fig. 5 zeigt eine abgeänderte Ausfüh rungsform der Felge im Schnitt;
Wheel rims for motor vehicles with air clilanch tires. The invention relates to a divisible rim for motor vehicle wheels, especially for truck wheels, with an air hose and a protective jacket.
There are already divisible rims are known, in which two each side flange having rings by means of approaches, teeth, etc. on a ring, grooves, grooves, etc. on the other ring with each other in a handle, by turning the rings in with respect to each other, the coupling of the same can be solved and produced.
The known rims of this type have the disadvantage that the parts can only be coupled to one another in such a way that the hose jacket is relatively very strongly compressed in the direction of the radars, and the rings to be coupled had precisely fitting guides and touched both the hose jacket on a relatively large area. For these reasons, the rims that have become known up to now could not be used more and more, especially for trucks, very strong, heavy and very often reinforced tires;
a man's strengths were insufficient to couple or loosen the rings, especially if the rubber of the hose jacket sticks to the ring to be loosened or if the latter is stressed by the hose jacket or if there is otherwise great friction between the ring and the hose jacket.
The subject of the present invention is a divisible rim for motor vehicle wheels provided with an air hose and hose jacket, which has a rim ring with a rim center part, a side flange on the one hand, a lock ring and a side flange on the other, the rim ring and the lock ring being provided with protrusions and recesses ; are and by pushing into one another and turning by Ver coupled with respect to each other who the.
The locking ring rests with conical contact surfaces on appropriately shaped surfaces of the rim ring with radial play and only touches the outside of the hose jacket with a radially directed wall, in such a way that both the rim ring and the locking ring are mainly subjected to anal stresses.
An embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in: Fig. 1 in cross section, in Fig. in section along the line @ I-li on Fig. 1 ,. FIG. 3 shows one of the parts in a front view, and FIG. 1 shows a perspective representation: FIG. 5 shows a modified embodiment of the rim in section;
6 to 11 each show a further embodiment of the rim, each in a section. The rim according to Fig. 1 to d has as a middle part a rim ring ca, a side flange b consisting of one piece with it, which runs along an edge, while on the other side of the rim ring forms a set from ring c., On which the to sentences d are appropriate. The gaps, that is to say recesses e, are located between the approaches d.
Corresponding to these approaches d and gaps e of the rim ring a, lugs 1t and gaps 1 are arranged on a locking ring f, which carries the second side flange g of the rim. which can couple the rings a and f together with the approaches d and gaps e.
When joining the rings a. and f, the lugs h of the ring f engage behind the lugs d of the ring a and are in this position firmly against the by the pressure of the expanding chalk mantle when the air hose is inflated Approaches d pressed.
The locking ring f is fixed in this position on the rim ring a by means of special locking screws k. Those surfaces of the approaches d of the rim ring a and of the approaches Ir. the Versehlussringes, which are on top of each other, are conical; also be seated the locking ring f radial play on the rim ring a, so that without the clutch being released, a. mutual radial displacement of the rings with respect to one another is possible.
The side flange g of the locking ring f facing the hose jacket runs radially, so that the latter only comes to rest against the jacket on the side and only finitely small. The devices are arranged on the inside of the rim ring a.
(not shown in the drawing) for fastening the rim on the wheel center (disc, etc.) To close the gaps and to prevent dirt from entering these gaps, is. the ring f provided with a radially inwardly projecting Fla.nseh.
The air hose and hose cover are pushed onto the rim ring a and then inserted on the locking ring f with its attachments Ir into the gaps e of the rim ring cz, until they lie in a plane behind the attachments d of the ring c, then becomes the lock ring f turned to the right or left. By screwing in the locking screws 1e, the rings are determined in this position with respect to their Ver rotational position on each other. Here the air hose is brought under pressure.
The hose jacket is pressed against the side flange g of the locking ring f; the latter appears on the ring a. in the radial direction and adjusts itself actively (it is assumed that the screws h: allow radial installation), so that it receives a good support evenly on all approaches d.
The stress is evenly distributed, and since the inner wall of the side flange g of the locking ring f, which is in contact with the hose jacket, is small, the locking ring f can be removed from the rim ring by a person without great exertion after loosening the visual hood k n. be solved.
In order to facilitate the loosening of the ring f even further, a metal band, for example made of aluminum, can be placed between the hose jacket and the ring f, which can rest loosely between the jacket and the ring f. but that could also be firmly connected to the jacket, for example by riveting, putty, etc. In this case, when loosening the ring f it slides on the band.
When replacing or repairing the tires, after unscrewing the locking screws 1c and the hose valve, the locking ring f can be lifted after rotation and the tires removed. The rims could also be designed as in FIG. The two flanges na, -n of the rim, which hold the air tube jacket laterally, are designed separately from the rim ring forming the middle part o of the rim.
The flange nt is supported on a radially outwardly projecting bead, while the flange n. Is supported on the locking ring f, which is connected to the middle part o in the manner described above.
When the locking ring f is loosened, it only slides on metal parts and not on the rubber casing, so that the rim can be loosened more easily.
As shown in FIG. G, the locking ring v, which corresponds in its shape and mode of operation to the ring f including flange n , could also be formed without the flange protruding radially inward will; furthermore, small webs iv or incisions y can be arranged at regular intervals from one another in the groove of the ring v, which make it easier to attach tools.
In order to avoid open gaps in the rim at the side, into which street manure could enter and prevent the adjustment of the locking ring. As shown in Fig. 7, the locking ring r can be provided with laterally and inclined to the axis projecting projections p 'which are pushed onto laterally projecting projections q of the center rim part o. The joint for the radial installation between parts r and o is small and does not allow dirt to enter the tire. The dirt adhering to the shoulders p and q is thrown away while driving.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, a ring, n made of thick sheet metal, is provided to close the joint between the parts s and o, which ring o can be attached to the rim.
The embodiment of FIG. 9 corresponds to that of FIG. 5, the ring ic again being provided to close the joint. To make it easier to twist the ring f, holes or projections can be provided in this. The laterally protruding sealing ring it protects the ring f from damage which could be caused by knocks, bumps, etc. occurring on the side of the wheel.
According to the embodiment according to FIG. 10, a flange n and a locking ring z are provided. The latter is flush with the one end face of the middle part, which end face is completely covered by the sealing ring ic. In this embodiment too, only metal parts rest on one another when the ring r is rotated.
In Fig. 11 the embodiment of FIG. 1 is provided together with a sealing ring ic represents.
