Vaporisateur.
Spray. In the vaporizers currently in use, the spray chamber is constituted by a nozzle attached and fixed to the head, into which the end of the dip tube penetrates, which, for this purpose, is bent square, or else an intermediate member fixed on the tube which it extends inside the spout.
The vaporizers thus formed present great drawbacks resulting from the difficulty in manufacturing and mounting the attached nozzles and the intermediate tubes or organs as well as their adjustment in order to obtain perfect spraying.
The invention relates to a vaporizer characterized in that the vaporizer head is extended at its upper end by a chamber communicating with the outside through a small orifice made in its peripheral wall and that in addition the dip tube penetrates through its upper end in said chamber leaving an annular passage through which the air supplied by the bulb opening into the head enters the chamber to mix with the liquid and spray it before it is discharged through the spray orifice, the capacity of the chamber being able to be adjusted by adjusting the height of penetration of said dip tube.
The appended drawing shows, by way of example, in vertical section an embodiment of a vaporizer established according to the principle of the invention.
As can be seen in this drawing, the head 1 of the vaporizer, intended to fit onto the bottle, has an air inlet orifice 2 to which the flexible pipe 3 connected to the bulb is connected. The head is extended at its upper end by a chamber 4 having an orifice 5 made in its peripheral wall. The dip tube 6 penetrates through its upper end into the chamber 4, the internal diameter of which is slightly greater than that of said tube in order to leave an annular passage for the air between these two members.
The dip tube 6 is also mounted in the head 1 using a threaded sleeve 7 provided with flats 7a and at its lower part of two shoulders 8 which abut against the lower part 11 of the head 1, when the tube 6 is in its highest position. This threaded sleeve 7 makes it possible to adjust the height of penetration of the upper part of the tube 6 into the chamber 4 intended to form the spray chamber.
The air emerging from the orifice 2 enters the head to exert its pressure on the liquid which, as a result, rises in the plunger tube 6, in the ordinary manner. When the liquid arrives in the chamber 4 it mixes with the air which also enters this chamber by passing through the annular passage, as indicated by the arrow.
The sprayed liquid is projected to the outside through the small diameter orifice 5 replacing the spout.
From the foregoing, the advantages of the vaporizer thus constituted are understood. Having no spray nozzle protruding to the outside and attached to the head, nor any fragile and delicate member intended to form the spray chamber inside the nozzle, it is very easy to manufacture and assemble and , therefore, a great saving on the cost price.
In addition, the capacity of the spray chamber can be adjusted very easily by adjusting the height of penetration of the dip tube into said chamber.
It is understood that the vaporizer shown is given only by way of example and that the shapes and dimensions may vary without changing the principle of the invention. Thus, in particular, the outlet 5 for the sprayed liquid can be made either in the plane of the air inlet 2 or in the plane perpendicular to it. last immediately above or finally oriented at all other angles with respect to pipe 3 and the air inlet port.
Urr of the advantages resulting from the possibility of having the liquid outlet orifice anywhere on the wall of the chamber 4 is that it can, for example, be pierced in such a way that it is presented directly opposite. of the person who perfumes, the pear on the right.
In addition, the air inlet orifice on which the flexible pipe 3 ends can be made at any location on the head.
