Fig. 1 stellt im Grundriss eine gerade
Gleisstrecke dar ;
Fig. 2 ist ein Querschnitt derselben,
Eine zunächst nur von einem Fahrzeug befahrene Strecke zwischen zwei Unterbre- chungsstellen der einen oder andern Leitung I bezw. II, im angenommenen Falle 2 lim, empfängt aus der auf diesem Fahrzeug selbst vorgesehenen Stromquelle b jeweilen Strom, wenn der Zeiger z des Uhrwerkes u an einem der Kontaktstücke i vorbeistreicht ;
Device to secure you rail vehicles on single-track routes against oncoming and following vehicles.
When the subject of the present
Invention-forming device for securing rail vehicles on single-track routes against oncoming and following vehicles are arranged between the two rails of the track two mutually insulated lines, which at certain intervals. nd in exchange offices permanent arrangement are interrupted.
The vehicles traveling on the route concerned are provided with a contact element that is always in contact with at least one of those lines and is electrically conductively connected to the axis of the pointer of a continuously running clockwork; this pointer slides by his
Rotation past contact pieces that are offset from one another in two systems. One system is connected to a power source, the other to a display device arranged on the vehicle.
The accompanying drawing shows a schematic representation of two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 shows a straight plan in plan
Track section;
Fig. 2 is a cross section of the same
Fig. 3 is a side view of the same together with those located on and on a vehicle
Parts of the protection scheme; Fig. 4 shows a track with a switch in plan.
Between the two rails of the Glei are two opposite the documents, for
Example the thresholds, and also insulated wires I and II arranged next to each other herlaufend. They have interruptions at certain intervals, such as b, b ... in line I, u, bob ... in line II. These interruptions, for example only over a few cm, follow each other, for example every 2 km, however, they are alternating, i.e. the interruption of the other line is 1 km away from the interruption of one line.
The line c connected to the sliding arm a is connected by a line d to the axis of the pointer z of a clockwork M that is continuously in motion.
As it rotates, the pointer sweeps past Eontaktstüeken i and k, which are arranged offset from one another in two systems. The gaps between two adjacent contact pieces i and Ic are only sehmal, at least only slightly wider than the pointer z. The system of contact pieces i is connected to a power source b accommodated on the vehicle, for example a storage battery or a transformer, that of the contact pieces k is connected to a line n with electric lamps f. A voltmeter v is connected to this last-mentioned circuit.
From the lamps f a line leads after a second clock g and further on the one hand to earth (E) and on the other hand to a device li, for triggering, for example by means of an electromagnet, a brake. From this device h, a line r leads through the vehicle to earth E. Instead of the sliding bow a, it is of course possible, for example, to provide sliding rollers or other ion valley organs.
A route initially only traveled by one vehicle between two interruption points of one or the other line I respectively. II, in the assumed case 2 lim, receives the respective current from the current source b provided on this vehicle itself when the pointer z of the clockwork u sweeps past one of the contact pieces i;
the current goes from the pointer axis through lines d and c into grinding bow a. If, however, a vehicle equipped in the same way comes on the same track from the front or rear onto the already occupied line between two interruption points on one line, for example I, and only having one interruption point on the other line, for example II So that danger is imminent, the line I in question also receives from this second vehicle in the manner described above intermittent current, which is removed from the grinding hanger a of the first-mentioned vehicle and through the lines e and d near the axis of the pointer z the clock u flows.
As often as the pointer moves past one of the contact pieces AG, the circuit o. M is closed, in which the voltmeter r and the lamps 1 are switched on: the lighting of the lamps makes the driver aware of the danger, so that he can drive his vehicle can bring to a standstill.
Under. If he leaves this out of carelessness or as a result of an accident that has happened to him, the circuit is interrupted directly to earth by the seconds clock that is triggered by the inflowing current and then runs automatically after its pointer has moved a certain partial rotation no longer than a few seconds but the one after the device la closed so that the brake is turned on. The same process also takes place on the second vehicle.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 4, a box q, for example made of cast iron, is attached to the switch, in which a switch lever m operated by the switch trestle or from an interlocking when changing the switch by means of the switch pull rod s is accommodated Box contains two isolated contact pegs p 'and p ", with one of which the switching lever w comes into contact in its two end positions.
The two lines I and II on the route from which the track branches off at the turnout are conductively connected to the box q or to the switch lever w itself. The lines I 'and II' lying in the straight continuation of the same are connected to the contact peg p @, the lines I "and II" lying in the branched path are connected to the other contact peg p ". Depending on the position of the switch lever the switch position, the current flows when driving the route either in a straight line from I and II to I 'and II' or vice versa, or in an oblique direction from T and II to T "and II" or nmgekelirt.
