Heizelement.
Die Zeichnung zeigt drei Ausführungs beispiele des Heizelementes und gleichzeitig deren Verwendungsweise. Fig. 1 zeigt im Querschnitt drei Elemente gemäss der ersten Ausführungsform mit Hohlkörper a und den Endplatten p, die zwecks Bildung eines Heiz körpers zusammengesetzt sind;
Heating element. The subject of the invention is a heating element which consists of a hollow body with an oval cross-section and is provided with rectangular end plates. The rectangular end plates are arranged at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the hollow bodies in such a way (that when several such elements are put together parallel to one another, closed walls form at both ends, which, if a tight seal is desired, can be clad with sheet metal or the like.
Because the cross-section of the ele ments is not circular but oval, the heating element gets a larger heating surface on the length unit with the same cross-sectional area. It is useful to rejuvenate the cross-section of the element downwards and to provide the element outside of the Endplat th with a nozzle for the inlet or outlet of the heating medium. serves. In this case, when several elements are combined to form a heating element, the nozzles can connect to one another and thus form a line for the supply and discharge of the heating medium.
It is also advantageous to increase the heat-emitting surface by means of ribs that extend lengthways on the top and bottom.
The drawing shows three execution examples of the heating element and at the same time their use. Fig. 1 shows in cross section three elements according to the first embodiment with the hollow body a and the end plates p, which are assembled to form a heating body;
FIGS. 2 and 3 show, in side view and plan view, a radiator composed of such elements. The position of the plates p on one another can be secured in any way, for example by screwed-on flaps. Fig. 4 shows an embodiment farm facing down. vexjüngtem cross section of the heating body a 'and with the end plates p.
If a radiator composed of such elements is used to heat bulk material, for example grain, which trickles down from above, there is no obstacle to the passage through cross connections between the individual elements and the above-mentioned tapering the cross-section downwards promotes the passage: FIG. 5 shows an element with a hollow body a1, end plates p and ribs c.
