En dehors de l'avantage que présente le bec de permettre l'écoulement du liquide dans (les conditions meilleurs qu'avec les becs existants, on se rend compte que grâce à la possibilité d'effacer la goulotte clans la posi tion de la fig. 4, on peut monter le bec ver seur tout près du bord chi récipient et ob tenir ainsi une vidange complète de ce dernier. Pour assurer l'inviolabilité du récipient, le bouchon d est perforé à sa partie supé rieure de six ou huit fenêtres la; on peut ainsi faire passer dans les fenêtres diamétra lement opposées une languette de métal k;
Container with spout. In existing containers with a spout, the pouring spout, made of tin or other stamped or added metal, is fixed, for example welded, on the upper face of the container as close as possible to one of the sides of said face.
11 results from this that the pouring spout necessarily has small dimensions so as not to protrude from the side of the container or receptacle.
This is a serious drawback, in particular when the liquid in the container is oil or another viscous liquid, because the liquid is poorly guided. on leaving the Aient reir, discharges under faulty conditions.
In the container, object of -l'invention, which overcomes these drawbacks, the spout is mounted so as to be able to rotate freely relative to a base flange fixed to the upper wall of the container, so as to allow the orientation of the spout towards the outside at the moment when the discharge must take place and, on the contrary, to erase it by bringing it back over the upper face of the container when the latter is not in use.
This spout can be completed by a plug, the head of which is pierced with holes in sufficient number for the passage of a tab which by means of a leaded metal ligature ensures the inviolability of the container, preventing fraudulent removal of the container. plug.
The following description, with reference to the appended drawing, given by way of example, will make it possible to clearly understand the manner in which the invention is carried out.
La.-fig. 1 is a sectional view of the pouring spout and its stopper taken through X-X of FIG. 2; Fig. 2 is a plan view; Fig. -3 'shows the upper part of the container with the spout in the pouring position; Fig. 4 shows it in the erased position; Fig. 5 is a plan of the safety tab.
The spout includes a chute a; of large dimensions, fitted with a key with raised edges l) and which connects to the threaded part c intended to receive, in the usual way, the stopper d, which includes a sealing washer e (in cork or leather), applied and glued to its base, presenting, as a result of a constriction, an annular bearing surface.
The threaded body e of the pouring spout is connected to the base flange f so as to be able to rotate freely with respect to said flange by means of the internal edge f of the flange, which is folded back by crimping ver., The outside by above the edge of the neck c. The flange f is welded to the. upper face 1. of container j.
As can be seen in the drawing, the dimensions of the body c and the chute a are much larger than those (ordinary spouts.
Under these conditions, the liquid flows with the greatest ease and is well guided: by the. spout chute to. out of the container.
Due to its pivot mounting, the spout can be rotated freely and either brought into the position of. fig. 3, which corresponds to the discharge, or clans the position of FIG. 4, where the. spout n is tapered, and the spout closed by the stopper d. In the latter position, the pouring spout does not protrude from the side of the container, and there is no need to worry about hanging it up when handling the can or container.
Apart from the advantage of the spout of allowing the liquid to flow under better conditions than with existing spouts, we realize that thanks to the possibility of erasing the spout in the position of fig. . 4, you can mount the spout very close to the edge of the container and thus obtain a complete emptying of the latter. To ensure the inviolability of the container, the stopper d is perforated at its upper part with six or eight windows. la; one can thus pass in the diametrically opposed windows a metal tongue k;
in the ends pierced with holes l through which a beaded thread can be passed iii. that one engages sou: the spout as seen in fig. .1 and in detail view fig. to and whose ends are joined by a guarantee seal ii, which prevents any rotation of the stopper by rep. # irt to the spout and therefore: .on removal.
