Description
Transmission gears for electric motors. The drive of revolving organs with different speeds by means of an electric motor very often presents difficulties because there is not enough space to attach organs for a translation of the number of revolutions of the rotor by belts etc., be it fast or slow, the latter especially with small motors which have high speeds.
The purpose of the present invention is to create a translation gear with very little space that allows the power on a shaft other number of revolutions than that of the rotor to take directly from the engine. To achieve this, one of the two La gerschilde an electric motor is designed as a gear box, which receives the translation organs. In order to prevent a long type of motor through the driven shaft and to arrange this shaft concentrically to the motor, the rotor axis of the Mo sector is bored out and the driven shaft passed through the same. This arrangement makes the whole thing a block that requires little space and is very easy to assemble. As translation organs, gears, belts, etc. can be used in a known manner.
The present drawing illustrates an embodiment of the subject invention.
1 shows an electric motor, the end plate 1 of which is designed as a gear box and which is protected against dust etc. by the cover 8. The rotor shaft 4 is bored through to receive the driven shaft 5; the shaft 5 protrudes from the end shield 2 for the arrangement of transmission means. Both the rotor shaft 4 and the driven shaft 5 are in the gear box. On the rotor shaft 4, a gear 6 is firmly seated, which engages in a gear 7 larger in accordance with the transmission ratio. The latter is firmly connected to a small gear wheel 8; Both gears, 7 and 8, are rotatably arranged together on a bearing pin 9. The gear wheel 8 engages in a larger gear wheel 10 which is stuck on the through shaft 5.
The GE driven shaft 5 is in the one bearing shield, which also serves for the rotor shaft, stored, while the shaft 5 is mounted in the rotor shaft 4 on the other side.
Fig. 2 shows a view of the transmission with the transmission cover open.
The gear shown serves, as he can see, for translation into slow speed; the transmission could also be carried out quickly for translation.
