Electric motors generally have a shaft that supports the rotor,
which rotates at one end in the bearing of a bearing plate and against a
Axial displacement is secured. The opposite end of the shaft is in the bearing
of the other end shield and carries the drive pulley. The one for the
Connection of the electrical lines serving terminal box is located on a
Side of the motor housing or on the motor housing. Such an arrangement of the terminal box
has disadvantages in several ways. If the terminal box is on the side of the motor housing,
so the drive of the machine system must be arranged on a certain side.
It is not possible without structural changes to the engine on the side of the machinery
to which the terminal box is located. To from the arrangement of the terminal box
To be independent, you put this on top of the motor housing. At this point
however, the terminal box is at great risk because, for example, falling goods,
as it often happens in the mining operations, causes the connection to be destroyed.
The disadvantages shown are due to the subject matter of the invention
in the simplest way, the essence of which is that the den
Rotor-bearing shaft is arranged in the stator that it is with the rotor
Slide in from both sides of the stator while pivoting the longitudinal axis by 180 °
leaves, the two end shields with respect to the arrangement of the fastening means
have an identical design true to shape on the motor housing.
an zwei verschiedenen Seiten. The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing in an exemplary manner
Embodiment shown, namely Fig. I and 2 show the arrangement of an electric motor
known embodiment on two different sides of a conveyor belt, Fig.
3 and 4 the electric motor within the meaning of the invention for driving a machine system
on two different sides.
Maschinenanlage ein schematisch dargestelltes Förderband i gezeigt.
On Figs. I and 2 is an exemplary embodiment for a to be driven
Machine system shown a schematically illustrated conveyor belt i. It's going over
a transmission 2 and a drive pulley 3 set in rotation by an electric motor 4.
The motor shaft 5 is rotatably mounted on the one hand in the end shield 6 and on the other hand
secured against axial displacement. The opposite end shield 7 is
pushed onto shaft 5. The terminal box is located on the side of the motor housing
B. If the motor 4 is now to be arranged on the opposite side of the conveyor belt i
be, as it can be seen from Fig. 2, the terminal box 8 must also
be arranged on the opposite side of the housing. This has the consequence
that a specially designed motor is required for each drive. the
The arrangement of the terminal box 8 on the housing must be used in particular in mining operations
be avoided due to the risk of destruction. In contrast, the invention shows a
simple solution: This consists in that the shaft carrying the rotor in such a way
Stator is arranged so that it can rotate even after pivoting the longitudinal axis
i8o ° can be pushed in from the other stator side and the end shields 6 and 7
have a dimensionally accurate, identical design in the attachment to the motor housing.
The slavishly identical form of attachment of the two end shields enables after
the release of the housing, the bearing plate 6, which with the motor shaft 5 and thus
is positively connected to the motor, to be pulled out of the housing and on
on the opposite side, where previously the one that was pushed onto the shaft
Bearing shield 7 sat. In this simple way, by alternately inserting the
The shaft with the rotor reaching from one side or the other of the housing,
that the motor 4 can be attached to any side of a machine system
can without having to make special structural changes. This results in
an independence of the arrangement of the drive from the arrangement of the terminal box
B. It is useful to have the terminal box 8 in the middle of one side of the motor housing
4 to be arranged, as can be seen from Figs.
Also motors with jacket cooling through outside the bearings on the shaft
arranged fans can be designed according to the invention, as shown in Figs.
3 and 4 can be seen. For this purpose, the motor housing is designed in such a way that
that the ventilation hood 9 can be attached to both of its end faces.
