Gemäss der Erfindung ist der unten offene, bis in die Nähe des Wasserspiegels glockenartig hochgeführte Ventilkörper über ein im Spülkastenboden -dicht befestigtes offe nes Rohr gestülpt und in dieses ein bis an die Decke des Ventilkörpers auf den Ventilhebel gestützter Finger eingeführt Hierdurch wird die Stopfbüchse erspart. - Der Spülkasten ge mäss der Erfindung hat infolgedessen die Vor teile der Ventilkörperbetätigung von oben ohne die Nachteile, die bis jetzt infolge der Stopfbüchse die Betätigung von unten hatte.
