Description
.Kolben für Verbrennungsmotoren. Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Kolben für Verbrennungsmotoren.
In der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Kolbens dargestellt, und zwar zeigt: Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht des Kolbens, Fig. 2 ist ein Schnitt nach der Linie A-B der Fig. 1; Fig. 3 ist ein Schnitt nach der Linie C-D der Fig. 1; Fig. 4 zeigt den Kolben von unten ge sehen; Fig: 5 ist eine zweite Seitenansicht des Kolbens. Der vorzugsweise aus Aluminiumlegierung bestehende Kolben ist mit zur Aufnahme von Dichtungsringen bestimmten NTuten 1 versehen.
Der Kolbenmantel\ ,2 ist aneinander diametral 'gegenüberliegenden"Stellen nach innen gezogen, so@dass Vertiefungen,3, 43 und 3', 4\ entstehen. Zwischen den,Vertiefungen 3, 4' bezw. ,3 ', 4@ist <B>je."</B> eine-*nach_ aussen ragende Leiste 5 vorgesehen. Die-Leisten 5 sind mit Bohrungen 6 versehen, in welche ein Kolbenzapfen gelagert wird. Um zu er möglichen, dass sich der Kolben bei seiner Erwärmung ausdehnen kann, sind Schlitze 7 vorgesehen, die quer zur Kolbenachse geführt sind und die zwischen den Leisten 5 ver laufen.
Ferner sind Längsschlitze 8 vorge sehen, die von den Schlitzen 7 aus nach dem untern Rand des Kolbenmantels geführt sind ohne aber bis zum Rande zu laufen. Der untere Kolbenrand ist unverletzt und kann genau dem Zylinder-Durchmesser entsprechend bearbeitet werden. Die Leisten 5 sind so stark gewählt, dass sie dem Kolbenzapfen ein gutes Lager bieten, ohne dass sie aber das Gewicht des Kolbens wesentlich erhöhen.

An exemplary embodiment of the piston is shown in the accompanying drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a side view of the piston; Fig. 2 is a section along the line A-B of Fig. 1; Figure 3 is a section on line C-D of Figure 1; Fig. 4 shows the piston see ge from below; Figure 5 is a second side view of the piston. The piston, which is preferably made of an aluminum alloy, is provided with N-grooves 1 intended to receive sealing rings.

Furthermore, longitudinal slots 8 are easily seen, which are guided from the slots 7 to the lower edge of the piston skirt but without running to the edge. The lower edge of the piston is not damaged and can be machined to match the cylinder diameter. The strips 5 are chosen to be so strong that they offer the piston pin a good bearing without, however, significantly increasing the weight of the piston.
