Description
Vorrichtung zum Sterilisieren. Bisher wurde fast ausschliesslich in der Weise sterilisiert, dass die mit den Sterilisier- gut beschickten Gläser in einem teilweise mit Wasser gefüllten Kessel mit doppeltem Boden erhitzt wurden.
Die Erwärmung auf eine bestimmte Tem peratur und das Festhalten dieser Tempera tur über eine gewisse, für die Sterilisation erforderliche Zeit bietet dabei Schwierig keiten und erfordert unter allen Umständen anhaltende Aufmerksamkeit dann, wenn diese Temperatur nicht gerade mit derjenigen des siedenden Dampfes übereinstimmt.
Durch die vorliegende Erfindung wird eine Sterilisiervorriehtung geschaffen, bei der die Aufheizung durch einen elektrischen Strom bewirkit wird. Die Einrichtung be steht darin, dass ein Raum, der zur Auf nahme der Sterilisiergläser dient, gegen aussen durch wärmeisolierende Wandungen abgeschlossen, elektrisch geheizt werden kann und mit einem die elektrisch produzierte Wärme verteilenden Metallkörper versehen ist. Es ist zweckmässig, die Aufheizung langsam .erfolgen zu lassen, Jass die Wärme die nötige Zeit findet, sich im Raume gleich mässig auszubreiten.
Es ist weiterhin von Vorteil, in den Stromkreis einen Temperatur regler einzuschalten, der sich im Sterilisier- raum befindet und der den Heizstrom unter bricht, wenn eine gewisse gewünschte Tem peratur erreicht ist; und der den Strom wie der einschaltet, wenn diese Temperatur etwas gesunken ist. Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform durch die nebenstehende Figur im Schnitt dargestellt. Es ist 1 eine vorzugsweise kreis- f <B>0</B> örmige Platte aus wärmeisolierendem Ma terial, wie zum Beispiel Korkstein. 2 stellt den Heizkörper dar.
Auch er hat zweck mässig Scheibenform und kann durch ein Heiztuch mit Fleizdrahteinlage gebildet wer den. 6 stellt die Stromzuführung dar, wobei 4 und 5 resp. Kupplung und Stecker zum Hinzuschalten des Temperaturreglers 6 in den Stromkreis bedeuten. Über den Heiz körper 2 ist eine Scheibe 7 gelegt zum Zweck, die erzeugte Wärme aufzunehmen und zu verteilen. Für diese Platte eignen sich gut leitende Materialien, wie Metalle und be sonders Aluminium.
Der Temperaturregler wird zweckmässig von der Platte 7 durch Isoliermaterial getrennt, damit deren Ni'ärme sich ihm nicht sofort und direkt mitteilen kann. -Der Sterilisierraum wird dann durch eine Haube 8 aus wärmeisolierendem Ma terial, wie zum Beispiel aus wärmegefütter tem Stoff, abgeschlossen. Um der Haube einen Halt zii geben, kann man die Grund form aus 1tarton herstellen und diesen aussen polstern. Der Thermometer 9 dient zur Kon trolle der Temperatur.
Die Sterilisiergläser werden auf die Metallscheibe gestellt und erhalten durch sie und durch die uml"ebencle Luft die Wärme zugeteilt. Es zeigt sich, class mit dieser Zusammenstellung sich ein Raum von überall angenähert gleicher Teni- peratur erzielen lässt.
Der Gebrauch ergibt sieb wie folgt. Die mit dem Sterilisiergut bes(@hickten Gläser werden, wie üblich, v er schlossen, auf die Wärmeplatte 7 gestellt,

Nachdem das Thermo meter 9 während genügoi@cl lanber Zeit die '-O-wünschte Sterilisiertemperatur angezeigt bat, wird der Heizkörper a bgeschaltet, cli? Haube abgehoben und die Gläser beiseite mestellt.

The present invention provides a sterilization device in which the heating is effected by an electric current. The device be is that a space that is used to take on the sterilizing glasses, closed from the outside by heat-insulating walls, can be electrically heated and is provided with a metal body that distributes the electrically produced heat. It is advisable to let the heating take place slowly, so that the heat finds the necessary time to spread evenly in the room.
It is also advantageous to switch a temperature regulator into the circuit, which is located in the sterilization room and which interrupts the heating current when a certain desired temperature is reached; and who turns on the electricity like that when this temperature has dropped a little. The subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment by the adjacent figure in section. The sterilization room is then closed by a hood 8 made of heat-insulating material, such as, for example, from heat-fed material. To give the hood a hold, the basic shape can be made from cardboard and upholstered on the outside. The thermometer 9 is used to control the temperature.
The sterilizing jars are placed on the metal disc and receive the heat through them and through the air around them. It shows that with this arrangement a room with approximately the same temperature can be achieved.
The usage is as follows. The jars covered with the items to be sterilized are, as usual, closed and placed on the heating plate 7,
