Description

  

  Notschutzvorrichtung für Fahrräder.    Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine für  Fahrräder dienende Kotschutzvorrichtung.  



  Der Erfindungsgegenstand ist auf der  Zeichnung in einer beispielsweisen Aus  führungsform dargestellt, und es zeigt:       Fig.    1 dieselbe an einem     Fahrrad-Hinter-          rad    angeordnet,     Fig.    2 einen Längsschnitt  durch dieselbe,     Fig.    3 eine Vorderansicht, und       Fig.    4 einen Grundriss zu     Fig.    1.  



  1 ist ein mit einer Aussparung 2     ver-          sehenes    Blechstück, dessen hintere und seit  liche Ränder 3     bezw.    4 und     4a    nach unten  abgebogen sind. Diese     letzteren    tragen die  Lederkappe 5, welche mit ihrem obern Rande  über die ganze Länge des hintern Randes 3  und über die Seitenränder 4, 4a sich teil  weise erstreckt und nach unten gerichtet  ist. Auf dem Blech 1 sind zwei mit Borsten  6 versehene Rahmen 7 vorgesehen, die     mit-          telst    Schrauben 9 und Schlitzen 9 parallel  zu sich selbst     verschiebbar    am Blechstück 1  auf dessen Oberseite befestigt sind.

   Der die  Schraubenbolzen 10 mit     Flügelmuttern    11  tragende Befestigungsarm 12 ist an der Hin.       terwand    3 befestigt und dient, um die Kot  schutzvorrichtung am Kotschutzblech     13     des Hinterrades 14 zu befestigen, wo sie mit-         telst    der Bolzen 10 und der Flügelmuttern 11  an dessen unterem Ende angeschraubt wird,  wie in     Fig,    1 ersichtlich.  



  Beim Anbringen der Kotschutzvorrich  tung werden die Schrauben 8 gelockert und  die Borsten 6 durch Verschieben der Rahmen  7 so eingestellt, dass die Borsten dem     Rad-          kranze    anschliessen, so dass durch diese Kot  und andere dem Radkranz anhaftende Gegen  stände abgestreift werden, wozu die Borsten  über den Rand der Aussparung vorstehen.

  The subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in the drawing, and it shows: FIG. 1 the same arranged on a bicycle rear wheel, FIG. 2 a longitudinal section through the same, FIG. 3 a front view, and FIG. 4 a plan view to Fig. 1.



  1 is a piece of sheet metal provided with a recess 2, the rear and side edges 3 and 3 respectively. 4 and 4a are bent downwards. The latter carry the leather cap 5, which extends with its upper edge over the entire length of the rear edge 3 and over the side edges 4, 4a in part and is directed downwards. On the sheet metal 1, two frames 7 provided with bristles 6 are provided, which are fastened to the sheet metal piece 1 on the top side by means of screws 9 and slots 9 so as to be displaceable parallel to themselves.

   The fastening arm 12 carrying the screw bolts 10 with wing nuts 11 is at the back. The bottom wall 3 is attached and serves to attach the manure protection device to the manure protection plate 13 of the rear wheel 14, where it is screwed by means of the bolts 10 and the wing nuts 11 to its lower end, as can be seen in FIG.



  When attaching the Kotschutzvorrich device, the screws 8 are loosened and the bristles 6 are adjusted by moving the frame 7 so that the bristles adjoin the wheel rim, so that these dung and other objects adhering to the wheel rim are stripped off, including the bristles protrude the edge of the recess.

PATENT CLAIM: Mud protection device for bicycles, characterized by a tes set up for attachment to the mud guard of a bicycle, with a certain recess to encompass the wheel rim, provided with downwardly bent edges serving to wear a protective leather and with on its surface parallel to itself self-adjustable frames with bristles that are used to wipe off dirt and other parts sticking to the wheel.
