Einrichtung zum Diebessichermachen von Fahrrädern. Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet eine Einrichtung, welche den Zweck hat, die häufig vorkommenden Fahrraddiebstähle durch Abnehmen der Pedale zu verhindern.Device for securing bicycles against theft. Wie in der beiliegenden Zeichnung ersichtlich ist, besteht die Einrichtung darin, daß im Tretlagerhebel a eine Längsnut b eingestoßen ist, in welcher eine mittels Bolzen c befestigte Sperrklinke d gelenkartig gelagert ist. Diese läuft in einen Druckhebel e aus, welcher von einer Blattfeder f gehoben wird, während dabei die Klinke d niedergedrückt wird. - Alle Teile sind zwecks Abhaltens des Schmutzes von einer beliebig abschraubbaren Schutzhaube 1i so verdeckt, daß nur eine Druckscheibe g außerhalb verbleibt. Statt der üblichen Gewindebohrung zwecks Aufnahme des bekannten Pedalbolzens ist im Tretlagerhebel a eine Vierkantbohrung i vorgesehen und der Pedalbolzen als Vierkant k ausgebildet und mit Quernut l versehen. Der Pedalvierkant k ist in der Hebelbohrung schließend eingepaßt und wird durch Einschnappen der Sperrklinke d in die Nut l das Pedal na vor Herausfallen gesichert. Durch einfaches Niederdrücken des Sperrklinkenhebels e wird die Klinke d gehoben und das Pedal in herausgezogen und so ein Weiterfahren verhindert. Diese neue Konstruktion der lösbaren Pedale kommt hauptsächlich für Freilauffährräder in Betracht und genügt es, eventuell den rechten Tretlagerhebel damit zu versehen, da beim Fehlen eines Pedales ein Weiterfahren und so das Entwenden des Rades ausgeschlossen ist. Bei -der Herstellung von Fahrrädern kann das Pedalvierkant und die Hebelbohrung sowie die Sperrklinke und die Nut l (da diese zwecks Einpassens doch besonders abgestoßen werden muß) für ein Rad oder für Gruppen von Rädern in besonderen Dimensionen hergestellt und alle Teile auf Zugehörigkeit gestempelt werden, was das Aufstecken eines .anderen Pedales ausschließt.As can be seen in the accompanying drawing, the device consists in that a longitudinal groove b is inserted in the bottom bracket lever a, in which a pawl d fastened by means of bolts c is mounted in an articulated manner.
