Abstract
La présente invention concerne une composition de cire comprenant des hydrocarbures linéaires, des hydrocarbures ramifiés et des hydrocarbures oxydés, la composition étant caractérisée par un point de congélation de 68 °C à 110 °C, un indice d'acidité dans la plage de 3 à 30 mg de KOH/g, un indice de saponification de 20 à 90 mg de KOH/g et une pénétration d'aiguille à 25 °C inférieure à 15 1/10 mm. L'invention concerne en outre une dispersion aqueuse comprenant la composition de cire et un procédé de fabrication à la fois de la composition et de la dispersion de cire. La composition de cire peut être utilisée pour remplacer entièrement ou partiellement la cire de Carnauba ou la cire de Candelilla.
