Abstract
Selon l'invention, l'ensemble du poids d'une bâche de refroidissement en fonte de fer ou en fonte de cuivre est supporté à l'intérieur d'une enveloppe de confinement de four par un seul collier en acier étanche au gaz, sur le côté arrière. Cette barrière est limitée de façon à comprendre au moins une rangée horizontale de nervures et de canaux qui retiennent des inserts métalliques ou des briques réfractaires, et/ou des poches qui aident à retenir du ciment pouvant être coulé et/ou des accrétions congelées sur place à partir d'une masse fondue, et/ou une application d'une zone de rechargement anti-usure qui est soudée selon un motif de cordon, de quadrillage ou de tissage.
