Abstract

La technologie selon l'invention concerne des compositions lubrifiantes comprenant une huile de viscosité lubrifiante, un détergent à base de sulfonate de métal alcalino-terreux ayant un rapport métallique d'au moins 10, en quantité suffisante pour contribuer à 3 à 14 g de KOH/kg de TBN par rapport à la composition lubrifiante, un composé phénolique d'hydrocarbyle sans soufre et sans cendres en une quantité de 0,4 à environ 6,0 pour cent en poids (% en poids)) de la composition, et un dispersant sans cendres ; la composition lubrifiante ayant une quantité totale de cendres de 0,3 à 1,8 % en poids, une quantité totale de savon détergent total de 0,1 à 1,2 % en poids et la composition lubrifiante contenant moins de 0,1 % en poids d'un détergent phénolique contenant du soufre. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de lubrification d'un dispositif mécanique (par exemple un moteur à combustion interne) avec la composition lubrifiante. La technologie selon l'invention concerne en outre l'utilisation de la composition lubrifiante dans un moteur à combustion interne diesel de grosse cylindrée pour mieux contrôler au moins l'un des aspects suivants : (i) économie de carburant, (ii) corrosion, (iii) propreté et (iv) usure d'alésage.
