Abstract
L'invention concerne une pompe à palettes qui utilise une ou plusieurs palettes moins restreintes (ou palettes plus lâches) à l'intérieur de son rotor. La ou les palettes moins restreintes sont configurées pour se déplacer dans le sens radial vers l'extérieur avant les autres palettes au cours du démarrage. Dans un cas, par exemple, au moins une palette a une épaisseur différente (par exemple, plus mince) par rapport à l'épaisseur des autres palettes. Dans un autre cas, au moins une fente a une largeur différente (par exemple, plus large) par rapport à la largeur des autres fentes. La palette moins restreinte facilite un démarrage à froid dans de l'huile hautement visqueuse en permettant un déplacement radial plus facile et donc une accumulation initiale plus précoce de pression dans la pompe. La pompe peut être utilisée avec un moteur ou une transmission.
