Abstract
La présente invention concerne un appareil permettant de réduire/stabiliser la tension intraoculaire. Un tube s'étend à partir d'une extrémité d'entrée en communication fluidique avec une chambre antérieure de l'il, pour diriger un écoulement de l'humeur aqueuse de la chambre antérieure vers une extrémité de sortie en communication fluidique avec une cavité, définie par un logement, permettant de recevoir l'humeur aqueuse. Un dispositif de régulation d'écoulement est mis en prise de manière fonctionnelle avec le logement, et est configuré pour réguler l'écoulement de l'humeur aqueuse, par l'intermédiaire d'un conduit défini par celui-ci et s'étendant de la cavité à un emplacement éloigné de la chambre antérieure. Le conduit peut être dilaté en réponse à la tension intraoculaire étant au-dessus d'une tension présélectionnée, pour augmenter l'écoulement ou pour diminuer la résistance à l'écoulement de l'humeur aqueuse à travers le conduit vers le site de drainage et pour réduire la tension intraoculaire à une valeur inférieure ou égale à la pression présélectionnée. La présente invention concerne également des appareils et des procédés associés.
