Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif respiratoire autonome pouvant être utilisé dans le cadre de la lutte contre les incendies. Ledit dispositif respiratoire autonome comprend une cagoule recouvrant la tête de l'utilisateur, une membrane destinée à fermer hermétiquement la cagoule de façon à créer un espace au sein duquel il est possible de respirer à l'intérieur de la cagoule, et une source d'oxygène disposée à l'intérieur de la cagoule. La source d'oxygène est reliée à l'utilisateur par un conduit situé à l'intérieur de la cagoule, tandis qu'un autre conduit dirige le dioxyde de carbone expiré par l'utilisateur jusqu'à la source d'oxygène. Ledit dispositif respiratoire comprend un indicateur visuel situé à l'intérieur de la cagoule et qui réagit en présence d'un gaz dans la cagoule pour fournir à l'utilisateur un retour d'information visuel sur la base de la quantité de gaz présente dans la cagoule.
