Abstract

L'invention concerne un papier de décoration comprenant un pigment auto-dispersant ayant un point isoélectrique d'au moins environ 8, de façon plus typique d'environ 8 à environ 10, comprenant une particule inorganique, un pigment, ayant un traitement par de la silice et un traitement le plus à l'extérieur préparés séquentiellement par (a) hydrolyse d'un composé aluminium ou d'un aluminate basique pour déposer une surface d'alumine aqueuse ; et (b) ajout d'un composé fonctionnel double comprenant : un groupe d'ancrage qui attache le composé fonctionnel double à la surface du pigment et un groupe amine basique comprenant une amine primaire, secondaire ou tertiaire. Typiquement, la particule inorganique est du dioxyde de titane, TiO2. Ces papiers de décoration comprenant les pigments auto-dispersants sont utiles dans la fabrication de stratifiés de papier.
