Abstract

An elongated half-moon shaped workshop garbage can into which the debris can be directly swept. It includes a flat side which rests against the ground with two support points. One of the two ends is closed, while the other is open and is the opening to the garbage can. The opening is inclined towards the can and forms an angle of greater than 90 degrees with the ground, ideally 115 degrees, in order to make sweeping into the garbage can easier. The flat side ends leaned towards the ground like the tray of an ordinary dustpan. The garbage can may also be used to pick up water or other liquids, the liquid being swept directly into the can while it is being held by one or several handles. The surface of the can may be reinforced by ridges; the cans may be stacked and may also be used in a vertical position when placed on the closed end.

DOMAINE DE L'INVENTION
La présente invention appartient au domaine des poubelles utilisées dans des ateliers, des usines, des entrepôts, des garages, des sous-sols, sur des sites de constructions, dans des champs lors de la récolte ou de la plantation, dans des centres de jardin ou dans des fermes.
ART ANTERIEUR
L'invention suivante a attiré notre attention :
CA 1082550 "Garbage receptacle" de C.A and J.B. Peters, obtenu le 30 décembre 1913 montre une poubelle pivotante en forme de demi-lune, positionnée verticalement accotée sur un mur. Elle peut être pivotée sur le côté pour faciliter le déchargement de son contenu, et remise en place après pour le remplissage habituel.
OBJECTIFS ET AVANTAGES
Une poubelle d'atelier en forme de demi-lune allongée, à usages multiples, et s'utilisant préférablement en position horizontale, couchée sur le sol permettant de balayer ou râteler directement dans la poubelle. Elle peut aussi servir comme moyen de pelle pour ramasser de l'eau ou tout autre liquide tramant sur le sol. Le côté à plat touche le sol à deux points de contact correspondant à ses deux extrémités entre lesquelles une surélévation est observée, et il se termine à
l'avant de la poubelle en plongeant de plus en plus vers le sol, comme un porte-poussière qui permet de mieux ramasser des ordures, ou de racler le sol pour faire pénétrer un liquide dans la poubelle, et il évite aussi la succion lorsqu'on l'utilise pour ramasser du liquide épais telle que de la vase. L'ouverture de la poubelle est inclinée offrant un angle de plus de 90 degrés, soit 115 degrés avec le sol pour permettre de faciliter le balayage dans la poubelle en évitant de cogner contre le contour de l'ouverture. La surface de la poubelle peut être renforcée par des ondulations de matériau, ceci permettant d'utiliser une quantité moindre du matériau de fabrication de la poubelle. Elle possède plusieurs poignées, sur les côtés, sur le haut proche de l'ouverture. Et elle possède aussi à l'extrémité
opposée à l'ouverture de la poubelle une région enfoncée servant de moyen de prise pour empoigner la poubelle. Enfin, elle présente aussi l'avantage de s'utiliser verticalement comme des poubelles standards. La poubelle est écologique car elle permet de ramasser les débris directement dans la poubelle puis quand elle est pleine de la vider directement dans un container sans l'intermédiaire de sacs en plastique dans la poubelle. Aussi elle se range bien contre le mur sur son côté plat.

TITLE: MULTI-PURPOSE WORKSHOP BIN
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention belongs to the field of trash cans used in workshops, factories, warehouses, garages, basements, on sites of buildings, in fields during harvesting or planting, in of the garden centers or in farms.
PRIOR ART
The following invention caught our attention:
CA 1082550 "Garbage receptacle" by CA and JB Peters, obtained December 30 1913 shows a swivel bin in the shape of a half-moon, positioned vertically leaning on a wall. It can be swiveled to the side for facilitate unloading its contents, and refitting afterwards for filling usual.
OBJECTIVES AND BENEFITS
An elongated, multi-purpose, half-moon shaped workshop trash bin, and preferably used in a horizontal position, lying on the ground allowing sweep or rake directly into the trash. It can also serve as shovel to pick up water or any other liquid on the ground. The flat side touches the ground at two points of contact corresponding to both ends between which an elevation is observed, and it ends at the front of the bin by diving more and more to the ground, as a door-dust to better collect garbage, or scrape the soil for make penetrate a liquid in the trash, and it also avoids sucking when uses to pick up thick liquid such as mud. Ce n'est pas juste une poubelle passive destiné à recevoir des débris mais elle sert aussi à recueillir des choses pour ensuite les déverser ailleurs sans utiliser de sacs plastique, ce qui protège l'environnement.
La poubelle sera mieux comprise en se référant aux dessins suivants.

DESCRIPTION DE RÉALISATIONS PRÉFÉRENTIELLES
Dans la description qui suit et dans les figures qui l'accompagnent, les chiffres semblables renvoient à des parties identiques des diverses figures.
La FIG.1 montre la poubelle 20 en forme de demi-lune allongée posée horizontalement sur le sol. Le côté plat contre le sol est identifié 22 définissant un plancher de la poubelle contre lequel elle repose sur le sol; il est surplombé
par une forme demi-circulaire 24. Une ouverture 26 est entourée d'un contour 32.
Le contour est incliné vers la poubelle pour faciliter le balayage dans la poubelle, et il possède une poignée 37" pour saisir la poubelle sur le haut. D'autres poignées 37 et 37' sont situées sur les côtés de la poubelle. Le côté plat se termine par un plateau 28 penché vers l'extérieur de la poubelle de telle sorte que lorsque la poubelle est posée contre le sol l'extrémité du plateau racle le sol. La poubelle est ondulée 30 sur toute sa surface pour la renforcer. Le fond de la poubelle 34 est également ondulé (les ondulations du fond sont visibles sur la FIG.2). Une petite ouverture 29 dans le plateau permet d'accrocher la poubelle à

un crochet, l'empêchant ainsi de se déplacer, à cause du vent par exemple, et aussi pour libérer l'espace du plancher. La poubelle comprend en son plancher 22 des renforcements 22' orientés vers l'intérieur de la poubelle et destinés à
faciliter un démoulage.
La FIG.2 montre la même poubelle 20 qu'à la FIG.1 mais avec le fond 34 bien visible; on y voit des ondulations et aussi une encavure 39 servant de prise pour empoigner la poubelle par le fond.
La FIG.3A montre la poubelle 20 vue de face et posée horizontalement contre le sol sur le côté 22. Le contour 32 forme avec le sol un angle 36 de 115 degrés.
Cette inclinaison de l'ouverture permet de faciliter le balayage ou l'introduction de débris dans la poubelle car elle évite de cogner contre le haut de l'ouverture.
La FIG.3B est une coupe selon la ligne 3B-3B de la FIG.3A, elle montre l'extrémité 40 du côté plat 22 le reliant avec le fond de la poubelle, cette extrémité est en contact direct avec le sol, et à l'opposé on voit l'extrémité
42 du plateau aussi en contact direct avec le sol. Entre ces deux extrémités le côté
plat 22 présente une légère dépression 44, une forme de "concavité" dont le point le plus élevé correspond au début du plateau 28. Un agrandissement montre l'angle aigu effilé 36' supplémentaire de l'angle 36 de la FIG.3A. On voit aussi dans l'agrandissement la zone plateau 28 qui penche vers le sol son extrémité 42 qui est contre le sol.
La FIG.4 montre la poubelle posée verticalement sur le sol. Le fond 34 contre le sol. C'est une autre manière d'utiliser la poubelle. Elle peut aussi être appuyée contre un mur par son côté plat 22.
Les FIGs.5 et 6 montrent la poubelle posée verticalement avec des graduations indiquant les dimensions préférées; le côté plat 22 mesurant 26 pouces de hauteur par 20 pouces de hauteur à l'avant; le plateau 28 mesurant 6 pouces de long et pouces de largeur par 15 pouces de haut. Le fond de la poubelle est de 13 pouces par 18 pouces.
SOMMAIRE DE L'INVENTION
Un réceptacle 20 servant de poubelle comprenant un corps généralement conique tronqué le long de sa hauteur et comprenant une extrémité fermée servant de fond 34 du réceptacle et une extrémité ouverte servant d'ouverture 26 pour recueillir des débris. Le corps est formé par un côté aplati 22 définissant un plancher de la poubelle pour poser contre le sol, surplombé par un côté en forme de demi cercle 24.
Le côté aplati 22 présente une dépression 44 ce qui le rend "concave", de 1/2 pouces ou de 3 degrés de pente, et touchant le sol à ces extrémités 40 et 42, la première extrémité 40 joignant le côté aplati au fond 34 de la poubelle et la deuxième extrémité 42 est ouverte.
L'ouverture de la poubelle est entourée d'un contour 32 formant un angle 36 de plus quatre-vingt-dix (90) degrés avec le sol afin d'éviter lors du balayage à
l'intérieur de la poubelle de heurter le contour. Une inclinaison préférée de l'ouverture est de 115 degrés.
La poubelle peut présenter des ondulations 30 sur toute sa superficie afin de la renforcer, ceci permettant de plus d'utiliser une quantité moindre du matériau de fabrication de la poubelle. Elle possède plusieurs poignées, et préférentiellement trois, soient deux sur les côtés 37,37', et une sur le haut 37". Une encavure dans le fond permet de l'empoigner par le fond. Les poignées 37-37" peuvent être remplacées par des trous, car lors de la fabrication de la poubelle comprenant des trous, le moule de fabrication est plus simple à réaliser.
Le côté plat 22 se termine en un plateau 28 complètement plat, sans aucune ondulations, et incliné vers le sol comme une pelle d'un ramasse-poussière.
Le plateau 28 peut être percé d'un moyen de trou 29 en son centre destiné à
accrocher la poubelle contre un mur.

La poubelle peut être muni en son plancher de renforcements 22' orientés vers l'intérieur et destinés à faciliter un démoulage.
Le réceptacle de la revendication 1 dans lequel ledit plateau (28) se termine par un angle aigu effilé (36').
L'extrémité du plateau/ramasse-poussière correspond à l'extrémité 42 qui est contre le sol comme le bout incliné d'un ramasse poussière formant un angle aigu effilé 36' raclant le sol lorsque la poubelle est posé sur son plancher.
La "concavité" du côté aplati de la poubelle permet de stabiliser la poubelle sur un plancher présentant des irrégularités, tel des bosses, car la concavité
surplombe ou recouvre ces bosses et empêche toute la poubelle de se soulever et surélever ainsi le plateau avec comme conséquence que l'extrémité 42 ne sera plus en contact direct avec le sol. Cette concavité permet donc à l'extrémité du plateau de toujours garder le contact avec le sol. Cela est efficace lorsqu'on évacue un liquide répandu à terre (en grattant avec l'extrémité du plateau le sol), et son côté
aplati évite la succion lorsqu'on ramasse du liquide épais, du fait que la concavité
crée des trous d'air qui empêche la succion.
Sur le plateau un petit trou 3/8" peut être fait afin d'accrocher la poubelle, et l'empêcher ainsi de se déplacer à cause du vent, ou libérer le sol.
Les dimensions d'un modèle standard de la poubelle lorsqu'installée horizontalement sont: 26 pouces de longueur, 20 pouces de largeur, et 15 pouces de haut. Le plateau 28 a une longueur préférée de 6 pouces. Et la dépression a une hauteur préférée de 1/2 pouces.
La poubelle peut être fabriquée en différentes grosseurs, par exemple de 16 pouces, de 26 pouces ou de 36 pouces de haut, dépendamment de son utilisation.
La poubelle peut être fabriquée avec un couvercle sur le haut posé contre le contour de l'ouverture 26.

D'autres objets et champs d'application de la présente invention se dégageront de la présente description au fur et à mesure qu'une personne versée dans l'art prendra connaissance des divers aspects de l'invention. Les présentes descriptions, aussi détaillées soit elles, ne présentent que des applications préférées de l'invention et ne sont données qu'à titre d'illustration. DESCRIPTION OF PREFERENTIAL ACHIEVEMENTS
In the description that follows and in the figures that accompany it, the following statistics similar ones refer to identical parts of the various figures.
FIG. 1 shows the bin 20 in the form of an extended half-moon horizontally on the floor. The flat side against the ground is identified 22 defining a trash floor against which it rests on the ground; he is overhung by a semicircular shape 24. An opening 26 is surrounded by an outline 32.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
A receptacle 20 serving as a trash can comprising a generally conical body truncated along its height and comprising a closed end serving as a background 34 of the receptacle and an open end serving as an opening 26 for collect waste. The body is formed by a flattened side 22 defining a floor of the trash can for laying against the ground, overhung by a half-shaped side circle 24.

Claims

Achievements in respect of which an exclusive right of ownership or privilege is claimed, are defined as follows:

A trash receptacle (20) including a body generally truncated conic defining a floor (22) along its height and comprising a closed end (40) serving as a bottom (34) of the receptacle, and an open end defining an opening (26) for collecting debris, said body characterized by a floor (22) for laying against the ground and overhung by an elongated half-circle-shaped side (24), said floor touching the ground at said closed ends (40) and end (42) opening (26) and having between said two ends a depression (44), said floor (22) terminating in a plate (28) plunging further forward to the ground, said tray being inside said end opened and integrated in the body of said bin; said elongated half circle comprising an encavure (39) in said bottom (34) and a handle (37 ") at the edge of said opening (26), the grasping by two hands of said encavure (39) and said handle (37 ") for filling by scraping the ground and emptying said two-handed bin, said tray (28) further comprising a hole means (29) at its center for attaching said bin against a wall.
