Abstract

Un applicateur de membrane comporte un chariot sur roues conçu pour rouler sur une surface devant être recouverte par la membrane. Un système de support du rouleau est fourni sur le chariot pour soutenir un rouleau de membrane. Un rouleau de presse est monté sur le chariot pour presser la membrane contre la surface à couvrir lorsque la membrane est déroulée dudit système de support du rouleau par suite d'un déplacement du chariot sur la surface. L'applicateur est particulièrement bien adapté à l'application d'une membrane bitumineuse sur des surfaces de toit plat de bâtiments commerciaux ou industriels.
