Abstract

L'invention concerne une poutre (10) profilée de section transversale sensiblement rectangulaire formée à partir d'une pièce unitaire en métal. Cette poutre comprend une première (44) et une deuxième (46) paroi opposées, sensiblement parallèles, composées d'au moins trois couches adjacentes de ladite pièce de métal (44 a, b, c, et 46 a, b, c). Ladite poutre (40) comprend également une troisième (48) et une quatrième (50) paroi opposées, sensiblement parallèles, situées entre la première (44) et la deuxième (46) paroi. La troisième (48) ou la quatrième (50) paroi présente un joint (52) qui relie deux bords longitudinaux opposés de la pièce en métal. L'invention concerne également un procédé de profilage d'une poutre.
