Abstract

La présente invention concerne, d'une part un additif réduisant l'exothermicité, et incluant un composé tétrahalogéné, et d'autre part une composition d'additif réduisant l'exothermicité et incluant une quantité suffisante de composé ionique tétrahalogéné, un solvant pour le composé ionique tétrahalogéné, et enfin un diluant compatible avec le composé ionique tétrahalogéné et la composition polymère organique. Le composé ionique tétrahalogéné est de préférence un borate tétrahalogéné, et plus particulièrement un tétrafluoroborate de lithium ou de sodium. L'invention concerne également des compositions polymères organiques contenant l'additif ainsi que des procédés pour incorporer l'additif dans les compositions polymères.
