Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un polymère de butyle à ample répartition de masse moléculaire. Ce procédé consiste à mettre en contact un monomère mono-oléfinique C¿4?-C¿8? avec un monomère multi-oléfinique C¿4?-C¿14? à une température d'environ -100 ·C à environ +50 ·C en présence d'un diluant et d'un mélange catalyseur comprenant une quantité supérieure d'un halogénure de dialkylaluminum, une quantité inférieure d'un dihalogénure de monoalkylaluminum, et une quantité minime d'un aluminoxane.
