Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de refroidissement par évaporation d'une feuille à l'intérieur d'un séchoir de manière compacte. L'excès de fluide pulvérisé est commandé, empêchant ainsi des problèmes de dépôts de fluide sur des surfaces internes du séchoir, lesquels peuvent provoquer une accumulation minérale et résulter en des ruptures de feuilles ou des défauts de qualité, si du fluide goutte sur la feuille. Plus particulièrement, un système d'alimentation en eau est utilisé afin d'acheminer de l'eau pulvérisée sur la feuille grâce à une configuration et un positionnement appropriés des buses de pulvérisation. La quantité d'eau pulvérisée sur la feuille est régulée, et est, de préférence, fonction de la température de celle-ci. L'excès de brume est commandé par acheminement d'air chaud en vue de vaporiser de manière efficace l'excès de brume avant qu'il ne parvienne à entrer en contact avec les surfaces internes de l'enceinte du séchoir et ses composants internes.
