Abstract

Des systèmes peroxydases tels que le système lactoperoxydase (LPS) sont combinés à des acides gras antimicrobiens ou à des dérivés d'acide gras afin de produire une composition synergique antimicrobienne. Ces compositions sont présentées comme étant utiles pour rendre des surfaces, ainsi que des produits tels que des aliments ou des cosmétiques, résistants aux microbes. Une forme préférée de la composition contient de la lactoperoxydase, de la monolaurine ou du dodécyl sulfate de sodium, une source de peroxyde d'hydrogène, et des ions thiocyanates.
