Abstract

L'invention concerne un système d'accès aux données qui comprend une interface destinée à se connecter à un appelant en utilisant une voie d'appels vocaux, un module d'écoulement d'appels destiné à recevoir une requête de données provenant de l'appelant au moyen d'une voie d'appels vocaux et un traducteur de pages destiné à envoyer la requête vers un endroit dans un réseau de communications qui est déterminé par la requête, ledit endroit contenant les données dans un langage de navigation sur invites. Le traducteur de pages reçoit et traduit les données présentées dans le langage de navigation sur invites en données vocales tandis que le module d'écoulement d'appels, associé à un convertisseur texte/voix, convertit les données vocales en une voix destinée à l'appelant qui attend sur la voie d'appels. Le système fournit un navigateur vocal destiné aux utilisateurs ordinaires du téléphone et leur permet d'accéder à des réseaux de communications tels que l'Internet.
