Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif (50) pour modifier la trajectoire d'un bateau équipé d'un pilote automatique à compas magnétique (5), se déclenchant sur réception d'un signal d'alarme (ba) et comprenant des moyens pour bloquer le compas sur un Nord fictif. Selon l'invention, les moyens pour bloquer le compas comprennent au moins deux bobines (B1, B2) disposées à proximité du compas selon des axes complémentaires, des moyens (21, 22, 23, 24) pour exciter chacune des bobines, des moyens (51) pour répartir l'excitation des bobines en fonction d'un signal de route (r1, r2, r3) et d'un signal de gîte (bi) du bateau, de manière à faire tourner préférentiellement le compas (5) dans le sens trigonométrique quand la gîte est à tribord et dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre quand la gîte est à bâbord, quelle que soit la route suivie par le bateau.
