Abstract

L'invention concerne un compas électromagnétique. Il comporte, au lieu de l'aimant habituel, un électro-aimant excité par un circuit d'attaque qui ne délivre un signal d'excitation que lorsqu'il y est autorisé par un capteur d'attitude horizontale, ou par un détecteur de forces d'accélération, ou les deux, de manière à n'être excité que lorsqu'il se trouve en position horizontale sans être soumis à des forces d'accélération en dehors d'une plage prédéterminée. L'invention s'applique particulièrement aux compas des navires.
