Abstract

Une nouvelle architecture d'acheminement et des éléments de réseau utilisent des noeuds dans un anneau ou une configuration d'anneau virtuelle. Des informations sont échangées entre des noeuds dans une série continue de supports hébergés par un supertrame. Un support est attribué à un noeud de destination et divisé en segments affectés à des noeuds sources. Ainsi, lorsqu'un support destiné à un noeud de destination particulier parvient à un noeud, et si ledit noeud contient des informations à envoyer au noeud de destination, ledit support charge dans le segment affecté qu'il contient des informations destinées au noeud de destination. Les tailles du supertrame, des supports et des segments peuvent toutes être modifiées dynamiquement ou statiquement.
