Abstract
Centrale électrique dans laquelle le combustible est de l'hydrogène (2). On brûle (8) l'hydrogène (2) dans de l'oxygène pur (1) afin de produire de la vapeur d'eau (71) que l'on détend dans une ou plusieurs turbines (24, 26, 28), la vapeur étant réchauffée par une combustion supplémentaire de l'hydrogène dans l'oxygène entre chaque turbine successive (10, 12). La chaleur disponible de la vapeur sortant des turbines (76) est récupérée par transfert vers l'hydrogène et l'oxygène avant la combustion. Etant donné que ni un combustible hydrocarbure ni de l'air atmosphérique ne sont utilisés dans la combustion, tout dégagement d'oxydes d'azote est éliminé et seule l'eau est dégagée (77) de la centrale électrique.
