Abstract

La présente invention concerne un désurchauffeur de vapeur dont le corps (38) est disposé dans une ligne de vapeur (16), lequel désurchauffeur de vapeur est mis en oeuvre par une source de pression d'eau variable régulée réagissant à la quantité de surchauffe prévalant dans la ligne de vapeur. Lorsque la pression dans la ligne de surchauffe dépasse un niveau défini supérieur à la pression de la vapeur dans la ligne de vapeur (16), un piston vient agir contre un ressort étalonné (61), découvrant ainsi progressivement une pluralité d'orifices de pulvérisation (73, 76), l'accroissement résultant de la pression d'eau se retrouvant sous la forme d'un accroissement continu du volume de l'eau pulvérisée dans la ligne de vapeur.
