Abstract

La présente invention concerne un polypeptide de CysE humaine et l'ADN (RNA) codant ce polypeptide, ainsi qu'une procédure de production dudit polypeptide par techniques de recombinaison. Elle concerne également des procédés d'utilisation dudit polypeptide dans le traitement de l'ostéoporose, de métastases tumorales, d'infections microbiennes, d'infections virales, de chocs septiques, d'inflammations, d'irritations de la rétine, de caries, de cachexie et d'atrophie musculaire. L'invention concerne également des méthodes de diagnostic permettant de détecter des mutations dans la séquence de codage et des modifications de la concentration des polypeptides dans un échantillon tiré d'un hôte.
