Abstract

La présente invention concerne des procédés et des dispositifs de réduction des émissions polluantes occasionnées par les opérations de combustion, notamment pour la fabrication de ciment. L'invention concerne en outre l'élimination des boues, notamment celles produites par les usines de traitement des eaux usées, en les introduisant dans le processus de combustion. En l'occurence, l'invention prévoit l'introduction de particules de boues aqueuses dans un four à ciment en un point du four permettant avec succès de réduire les émissions polluantes dans les émissions de gaz de combustion produites par le four à ciment. De façon optimale, les boues sont introduites en un point susceptible de réduire au minimum l'émission de NO¿x? et de réduire au minimum l'émission de HC1 en aval (à basses températures). Dans un mode de réalisation spécifique, l'introduction de 10 à 20 tonnes (non métriques) de boues humides par heure permet de réduire d'environ 15 à 30 % les émissions de NO¿x? dans un four à ciment.
