Abstract

Le nettoyage de moteurs à combustion interne (16) consiste à aspirer un fluide de nettoyage depuis un réservoir (22) à l'aide d'une pompe (74), à rincer le bloc-moteur (16), et à renvoyer le fluide au réservoir (22) au moyen de la pompe (74). Avant nettoyage, rinçage et trempage du moteur (16), le lubrifiant est enlevé du bloc-moteur sous une pression différentielle. A cet effet, un vide peut être appliqué à l'orifice de vidange (20) du bloc-moteur. En plus ou en variante, une pression peut être appliquée à l'orifice du filtre à huile (18) sur le bloc-moteur pour faciliter le retrait du lubrifiant.
