Abstract
Un bateau, doté d'une coque planante ou semi-planante rapide, comprend: a) une première partie (12) située à la proue et configurée en partie planante avant; b) une deuxième partie (13), derrière la première partie, qui comprend une cavité (14) peu profonde, dont l'extrémité avant est définie par un décrochement (15) transversal ménagé dans la coque, et comportant une nervure (16) de chaque côté de la coque, sur toute la longueur de cette deuxième partie; c) une source d'air sous pression disposée dans ce navire et reliée à la cavité (14) pour y amener cet air sous pression au travers d'une sortie (17), l'air étant réparti de façon pratiquement égale dans la cavité et de façon à ne pas perturber la surface de l'eau sous cette cavité (14); et d) une troisième partie, derrière la cavité (14), formant un joint, à l'extrémité postérieure de la cavité, prenant la forme d'une surface arrière profilée incorporant un ou plusieurs canaux (20) partant de cette cavité (14) vers la poupe pour permettre un flux d'air maîtrisé à partir de la cavité (14), de façon qu'une partie substantielle de cette troisième partie n'ait aucun contact avec l'air s'écoulant de ladite cavité.
