Bicycles in general are designed according to people with all their functional members. When that a person has a deficient limb, the choice becomes very restricted "LE TRICYCLE ADAPTÉ". It is comparable to a conventional bicycle that allows a one-legged ability to move safely to overcome physical, geographic difficulties, such as headwind and the hills. Muscle strength is important and has its limits.
DOCUMENTATION PRIOR TO THE INVENTION
The patents that caught our attention are below listed and described next to our request.
US PAT 3,823,959 The latter has a single chain front wheel drive without diverter or no speed step and assisted by traction rear pedal.
US PAT 3,910,599 The latter has a single front traction with two chains and it has only one bearing gear at the wheel.
US PAT 4,152,005 This tricycle is front-wheel drive with two chains assisted by a rear traction pedal re.
US PAT 4,270,766 This bicycle has single traction front single chain without deflector and with a single gear bearing.
US PAT 4,303,255 The latter has a single front traction with two chains and has only one bearing gear at the wheel.
US PAT 4,417,742 The latter has a single rear traction fitted standard bearing gears.
US PAT 4,773,662 The latter has front-wheel drive with two chains including the single derailleur is located on the transfer diverter equipped with an assisted bearing gear. Has traction rear pedal.
The main object of our invention compared to those mentioned above, is that the front wheel drive is chain single with two bearing gears, has a derailleur as well than a derailleur derailleur and are assisted by a traction electromotive rear and several auxiliary components which form the whole for the benefit of the disabled.
2l2 ~ soa SUMMARY OF lNVL- ~ ~ lON
The present invention consists of a bicycle having a front manual traction and rear electromotive. In the front a three-stage gear crank overhanging the handlebars drive the front wheel by a single chain which is deflected by a gear derailleur deflector located at proximity to the drive crank which allows selection of a crank bearing.
The front wheel has five bearings fitted with a derailleur.
On the horizontal bar of the chassis is installed a bidirectional stabilizer which connects to the bar vertical of the front pipe which is used to check excess oscillation and poaching.
The conventional crankset is replaced by supports with removable pedals, one of the supports of which has a hook retained on its upper part which serves as support for the non-functional or artificial limb and this removable support has a limit switch positioned at a wide angle.
The electromotive rear wheel drive is positioned at the rear from the seat and above the wheel, the motors are connected to the decoupled gearbox forming a single body and is connected to the rear wheel by a chain.
A push button is installed on the handlebars and is used to activate the electromotive force. Front and rear brakes, the removable pedal support are fitted with switches limit. In addition, a mercury switch is installed at the vertical on the front of the gearbox. All these switches are used to disengage the force electromotive.
On the rear wheel supports and the vertical supports of the gearbox, pressure supports have been installed for taking crutches or canes.
