Abstract
Accurate As soon as the child arrives in front of the right front wheel of the bus (public vehicle), the wheel placed just in front of the exit of the vehicle, it is captured by a video camera which immediately transmits the image to a monitor that the driver watch. Children (adults) are picked up by the camera from the ground, up to about 30 inches tall. If the child (adult) picks up an object from the ground or, if he bends over, it is always seen by the driver, thanks to the monitor. If the child (adult) falls or for any reason finds himself lying in front of the vehicle, again, the driver keeps eye contact. A microwave mass and motion detector is placed in front of the right front wheel of the bus (public vehicle), the wheel placed just in front of the vehicle exit. It captures any large mass passing in front of the vehicle, preventing the system from being triggered by the presence of a cat, for example. Children are detected from approximately 18 inches past the microwave detector. Please note that between the corner of the vehicle and the start of radiation from the microwave detector, the child (adult) is still captured by the video camera which allows the driver to keep eye contact with him. The child (adult) remains in the detector field up to a distance of nearly six (6) feet, past the vehicle. As long as the child (adult) remains in the detector's field, an audible signal is heard by the driver.
Description
."~"i.
~ - Descriptive memory The present invention relates to an audio and visual security system to protect the crossing of children (adults) in front of vehicles school (public).
It is common practice to see video camera systems installed in indoor and outdoor buildings, to record sound and the view of activities in a room, but not below a bus (public vehicle) which can withstand all weather conditions, as well as the microwave detector which is the object of detection in temperatures and various bad weather.
We discovered a system that may belong to a better `
safety category for children (adults) who descend and board a (public) school vehicle using a system video and audio with motion detection, therefore, the attention of the driver is constantly on the monitor at the entrance or exit (stairs) children (adults) of the vehicle. The risk of not seeing or hearing is very very minimal thanks to the double technology used here.
Relative to the drawing which illustrates the embodiment of the invention, the figure "A" represents a front view of the invention, figure "B" - ~
represents a bird's-eye view. ~
. "~" i.
The camera system, point 2 in Figure "A" demonstrates in a monitor, ~ ~
point 6, nine (9) inches, a view at an angle of 110 degrees from the ~ i crosses people. This camera covers from the driver's side: ~
a 110 degree network on a 360 degree shape, figure "C", seen from ~ -`
side. This camera works both when the vehicle is stopped OR '? ::
when the latter is on its way.
The microwave motion detector, point 1, detects the movement of ~
children (adults) when they pass in front of the vehicle, with - ~
an oval shape within a radius of nine (9) feet long by five (5) feet wide that encroaches on the camera field, point 2, which - `-gives a sound inside the vehicle to notify the driver ~ i ~
to look at the monitor before leaving the premises; see figure "D".
Note that this microwave detector only works when ~ - ~
the vehicle is in stop mode and the handle opening the door and pulling out the double stop arm, see figure "A" point 3, is actuated, -the microwave detector is working (so when the door is open). ~ -
