~32~2 MOBILIER DE STOCKAGE ET D'EXPOSITIOM
D'ARTICLES SENSIBLEMENT PARALL~LEPIPEDIQUES ET
DISPOSITI~ DE MAINTIEN MIS EN OEUV~E PAR IU~ ~EL
MOBILIE~.

MOBILIE ~.
The present invention relates to furniture for storage and display of items substantially parallelepipedic such as books, discs, compact discs, cassettes or video cassettes. The displays known in the state of the art are constituted by superimposed shelves on which are arranged articles. The location of each row of items is bounded by fixed borders. As a result, possibilities of organizing articles on furniture exposure are very limited. Now, it can be desirable to be able to exhibit items of different dimensions, for example discs, cassettes, compact discs and video cassettes concerning the same author or the same subject. The object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback by offering modular furniture, particularly aesthetic, and with great ease of development.
The present invention relates in particular furniture for storing and displaying items substantially parallelepipedic, consisting of shelves superimposed substantially parallel to each other and having removable devices for separating two consecutive series of articles. The devices separation include means for temporary maintenance of the front of the first item in the row, in a plane substantially vertical. Storage and storage furniture presentation thus produced allows optimal exposure articles. The consumer can withdraw the first item he wishes to acquire. The following article takes thus its place and is maintained in a plane substantially vertical by the temporary holding means of the device of seperation.
According to an advantageous embodiment, the furniture is constituted by a frame supporting a plurality .,:. . .

According to a first embodiment, the tablet has a profiled rear strip, provided orifices cooperating with pins arranged on the border upper longitudinal sections. According to a second embodiment, the tablet has a strip longitudinal support, between the profiled edge and the shelf, the support strip being substantially vertical and cooperating with the longitudinal profile when the tablet is in place.
These two embodiments make it possible to ; add or remove tablets extremely simple. According to a particular embodiment, the shelves have a plurality of holes, aligned on a longitudinal axis, the distance between two holes consecutive corresponding substantially to the greatest common denominator of the different widths of items to exhibit, increased the distance between two consecutive items. The holding device is positioned by studs cooperating with said holes. It is thus possible to very quickly transform the organization of the furniture of presentation by substituting a device for maintaining a width given by a width holding device different.
According to a first variant, the device for support consists of a belt with a depth substantially equal to the depth of the shelves, and width substantially equal to the width of the article. The holding device comprises a movable support piece the along a median axis perpendicular to the front face of the article presented. This support piece is pushed against the front part of the belt by a spring.
'' , -. . ~
, ~. :
When the first article in the series is taken by a consumer, the spring acts on the support piece to advance all the articles of an Ipas, so that the second article takes the place of the one which has just been removed. So the consumer sees all the front sides of the aligned items, whatever the number of articles remaining behind the article displayed. According to an advantageous variant of the present invention, the holding device is constituted by a plurality of H-shaped parts when viewed in section hori ~ ontale, said parts having a wall transverse connected at each end to a wall longitudinal. The transverse wall has at least one guide groove of a movable support piece subjected to the action of a spring tending to push back towards the face before. It is thus possible to build a furniture of very modular way, and to adapt the furniture so extremely flexible for different uses: presentation of cassettes, compact discs, video discs, etc. The rearrangement of the display is done by simple displacement H-shaped pieces, all similar.
e preference, the lower edge of the transverse wall has means for clipping the part in the holes of the shelves. This mode of realization allows to reorganize the display without recourse no tools.
Advantageously, the transverse wall is connected at one end to a first longitudinal and at the other end to a second wall longitudinal of the same width and different height.
According to this embodiment, it is possible to adapt the furniture to items of different size in returning, as appropriate, the H-shaped pieces in a one way or the other so as to present either the wall highest longitudinal, i.e. the longitudinal wall the lower.
Preferably, the support piece slides between two consecutive H-shaped pieces by , ~ i 4 ~. Q ~
through connecting pieces with a slot introduction of the slice of the support piece, and on the opposite face of the pins capable of cooperating with the grooves guide. Similarly, it is advantageous to provide on the edge of the longitudinal walls a groove suitable for cooperate with the spring support plate. According to this mode of realization, it is easy to reverse the support piece and the support blade so as to adapt the device to either large items, or small items dimension.
The present invention also relates to a device for holding and separating arranged articles on a display comprising at least two shelves. The ; upper shelf has a front longitudinal strip tilted. The holding and separation device is consisting of a first part provided with a slot in which can be slid a second piece substantially flat, arranged perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the tablet when the device is in place. Space between the lower edge of the upper arm and the edge top of the flat part of the second room corresponds, on at least part of the length of the flat part of the second part, the thickness of the front part of the upper shelf.
This type of device is particularly suitable on a shelf with an inclined front strip. Good heard, it also fits on tablets having, for example, a longitudinal embossing or ~ outes other deformations with respect to a plane.
The device according to the present invention can be placed anywhere on the shelf superior. Locking the first part when it is put in place by sliding the second piece inside the slot. This second piece ensures on the one hand, the locking of the position of the maintenance and secondly the separation of two series of articles arranged on the shelves.

Advantageously, the flat part of the second part has transverse break lines. These break lines allow to adjust the length on which takes place the separation of two articles. They allow in particular to use a single model of piece for shelves of different depth.
According to a preferred embodiment, the second part is constituted by a transverse strip, of a width greater than the thickness of the first part, extended by a flat part of a height substantially equal to the width of the slot. Advantageously, the strip is offset from the flat part. This strip transverse ensures the forward locking of the articles arranged on the shelves. When it is off center, it is possible to put side by side a holding device on the right and a holding device on the left ~
Advantageously, the first part presents a form of C consisting of an upper branch and a substantially parallel lower branch connected by a perpendicular branch provided with a middle slit. The lower branch has on its upper edge a middle groove with a width substantially equal to the thickness of the flat part of the second part. This groove constitutes a means of guiding the flat part of the second room. According to a particular embodiment, the front edge of the perpendicular branch of the first part comprises snap-on means capable of cooperate with additional means provided on the strip of the second part. These snap-on means allow the two parts to be locked once they are placed on the shelf.
According to a particular variant, the strip has a surface on its front surface on which be put in place a reference or price tag.
The second piece is preferably symmetrical with respect to the median longitudinal plane perpendicular to the flat surface, similarly, the first piece is advantageously symmetrical with respect to a plane :. ; : ': ~':
6 ~ 2 longitudinal median. The production of symmetrical pieces allows for right-hand holding devices and to the left with only one set of parts. I
The present invention will be better understood on reading of the description which follows, based on the drawings where:
- Figure l shows a front view of a display unit fitted with a device according to the invention, - Figure 2 shows a front view of the first piece, ~ Figure 3 shows a profile view of the first piece, - Figure 4 shows a front view of the second room, and - Figure 5 shows a rear view of the second room.
- Figure 6 shows a variant of holding device.
- Figure 7 shows a perspective view holding a ladder 5.
- Figure 8 shows a perspective view of a variant of a display unit according to the invention.
The furniture according to the present invention has two shelves (~, 2) parallel to each other. These shelves can be fixed on a frame or on the wall according to known methods and devices. In particular, the furniture can be constituted by a frame formed of rectangular tubes forming a vertical frame. This vertical frame ensures the rigidity of the whole. Of profiled panels are arranged vertically on this frame.
These profiled panels have an upper border and a horizontal bottom border, of sufficient width to form a support point for the shelves (1, 2). The height of these profiled panels corresponds substantially to articles intended to be exposed and more specifically to smaller items for display.
The shelves can thus be put in place in each slot separating two profiled panels , superimposed, or only in certain slots, from Eaçon to reserve a higher height between them for larger items. The tablet ~ 1) has on its rear edge a strip substantially vertical followed by a strip substantially horizontal. The substantially horizontal strip comes fit between the upper edge of a profiled panel and the lower edge of the upper profile. The band vertical shelf rests against panel lower profile. This gives good rigidity of the tablet, even when it contains a large number of articles. To block the tablet, we can provide nipples arranged on the upper border of each of the profiled panels. These nipples cooperate with orifices arranged on the horizontal rear strip of the shelf.
The frame can be constituted by a frame vertical rectangular. It may also include a upper part inclined on a slope, so that the articles are arranged substantially on an arc of cylinder, the axis of which would pass through the eyes of a medium-sized consumer moving at a distance usual display. The shelves are thus tilted down. The articles are nevertheless retained by the holding and separating devices and therefore cannot fall to the ground.
According to a first embodiment of the separation devices shown in Figure 1, is consisting of a first part (10) in which is introduced a second part (11). The second room (11) has a flat part (12) separating two series of articles. A strip (13) protrudes from the first piece (10) forward. The width of this strip (13) is greater than the thickness of the part (10). This strip (13) therefore prevents the withdrawal of the first article (3) following a direction perpendicular to its front face. Withdrawal is done by flipping the first article (3) as indicated by the arrow (14). The movement is to shoot forward the bottom of the article so as to make it .:: ..,:.,. ~ .. -. :. :, 8 ~ 2 ~ 2 ~
extend beyond the inclined front edge (15) of the shelf lower (2). Then removing the item down, it can be extracted from the display.
Figure 2 shows a detailed view, at a slightly higher scale, from the first piece of the device. This first piece consists of an arm upper (16) and a lower arm (17) substantially parallel, connected by a perpendicular arm (18). The edge lower (19) of the upper branch ~ 16) is constituted by two segments (20, 21). The angle formed between the segment front (21) and the rear segment (20) corresponds to the angle formed between the inclined front strip (15) of the shelves (1, 2), and the general plan (22) of the shelves. Of course, if the shelves (1, 2) did not have a front strip inclined (15) but a bump or a rib longitudinal, the lower edge (19) of the upper arm (16) would have the appropriate complementary form. The arm perpendicular (18) has a slot (23) whose height corresponds to the width of the flat part (12) of the second piece (11), the width of which corresponds to the thickness of the flat part (12) of the second part (11). The width of this slot is defined so that that the space remaining between the lower edge (19) of the arm upper (16), and the upper edge (24) of the second piece (11) correspond substantially to the thickness of a shelf (1, 2). Snap-on means (25, 26) cooperate with complementary means (27, 28) ~ reviewed on the rear face of the strip (13) of the second part (11). The second part is shown from the front in FIG. 4.
It comprises a flat part (12) whose dimensions have previously explained. The length of this part plane (12) can be adjusted by breaking along the lines break (29). These break lines (29) allow to adjust the length of the flat part (12) to the depth of the tablet, which will be more or less important according to the number of articles it is supposed to receive.

Figure 5 shows the second part seen from behind. It comprises a flat part (12), extended by a strip (13) comprising complementary means ~ es (27, 28) snap-in. The strip (13) has a first part (30) of a width substantially equal to the thickness of the first part and a second part (31) of one more large width intended firstly for blocking articles arranged on the shelf, and secondly the placement, on the front side of article presentation labels presentations or references or prices.
According to a second embodiment, exposed in FIG. 6, the device for holding the articles is - constituted by a rigid belt (35) comprising two blanks side (36, 37), a rear blank (38) and two front legs (39, 40). This belt is advantageously made of folded sheet. The width of this belt corresponds to the width of the articles (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8). The articles are pushed against the two front legs (39, 40) by a spring (41) exerting pressure on a support piece (42).
On each side blank there is a tab (43) and a side tab (44). A fixing piece (45) fits into the volume delimited by the legs side (43, 44). This fixing part (45) is clipped in holes provided on the shelf. These holes are aligned so that they can receive fasteners corresponding to different holding devices Jetters. The assembly is carried out as follows: We have everything first fasteners of the correct size on the Tablet. Then a fixing part (45) is introduced.
between the adjacent side tabs (43, 44). We continue operation until all holding devices are in place. The withdrawal of the first article is done in exerting a slight upward pull so that its lower edge exceeds the upper edge of the legs front support (39, 40). At that time, the second article can advance until it comes into contact with the front of the holding device. For example, the spring used : ~. :,:. . ::

work consists of a steel wire with a diameter of nine tenths of a millimeter.
Figure 7 shows an example of production of a fixing piece (45). This piece of fixing (45) comprises a head (~ 6) facilitating its gripping and its placement in the space between two adjacent side tabs (43, 44). The section of 1a head (46) is greater than the section of the hollow space delimited by the adjacent lateral legs (43, 44). This head (46) is connected to a rod (47) whose length, width and depth correspond substantially to the volume delimited by two adjacent lateral legs (43, 44). Opposite the head of the fixing piece (45) is finds a foot (50) whose section corresponds substantially to the holes provided on the shelf. This foot is divided into two symmetrical branches separated by a slot (51).
When the fixing piece (43) is put in place, the edges (49) of the foot (50) come into contact with the edges drilling with which the part must cooperate. When the foot ~ 50) of the part (~ 5) is fully engaged in the corresponding drilling, the two branches resume their initial position due to the elasticity of the material employee. The inclined upper edge (49) then comes oppose the removal of the fixing part.
However, when pulling on the head of the fastener, the inclination of the edge upper (48) of the foot (50) causes the approximation of the two symmetrical branches. The reconciliation allows the removing the foot (50) from the piercing of the tablet.
The fixing piece is advantageously made of elastically deformable plastic. The head, foot and stem sections can be any shape, especially round or rectangular.
Figure 8 shows another mode of realization of the invention. The tablet (1) has at its rear face a substantially vertical strip (60) is continuing with a substantially horizontal strip (61) and ending in an oblique outer strip (62). The ~. . -.
-. :. : -11 ~ r ~, 3 ~ 2 ~
holding device consists of parts ~ 63, 6 ~) H-shaped, views in horizontal section. These parts have a transverse wall (65) arranged vertically and connected at each end to a wall longitudinal rear (66) and to a longitudinal wall before (67). The transverse wall (65) has two guide grooves (68, 69). ~ It also presents the along its lower edge, means means of clipping (70, 71) for positioning the H-shaped parts (63, 64) on the shelf provided with holes previously described. The front (66) and rear (67) walls are Lar ~ eur identical but of different height. So, for present articles of low height, we have the lowest longitudinal wall towards the front. At otherwise, to present larger articles dimension, invert the H-shaped part to present forward the highest longitudinal wall. The longitudinal walls have on their edges grooves (68, 69, 70, 71) in which can be inserted a support blade (72). The holding device articles is supplemented by a support piece (73), of preferably of width identical to the support blade (72) of so that it is possible to reverse these two pieces and thus adapt the holding device to articles of different height. The support piece (73) slides ~ Ransversally under the action of a spring (74) thanks to connecting pieces (75, 76) having a groove (77, 78) into which said support piece can be inserted and maintained. This connecting piece (75, 76) comprises also nipples (78, 79) capable of cooperating with the guide grooves (68, 69).
It is understood that the present invention can be produced in many equivalent variants without going beyond the scope of protection.
