L'invention a pour objet un système de fixation axialement ajustable comprenant : * au moins un profilé dont la section présente une base et 2 ailes sensiblement parallèles, lesdites ailes comprenant chacune des perforations en vis- à-vis ; * au moins une barrette amovible apte à être insérée dans lesdites perforations en vis-à-vis ;
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
D'autres particularités et avantages de l'invention ressortiront de la description suivante de modes de réalisation particuliers de l'invention, référence étant faite aux dessins annexés dans lesquels : * la Fig. 1 est une vue en perspective d'une fixation comportant une patte en L sur un profilé en U ; * les Fig. 2a, 2b, 2c et 2d sont des vues en perspective de barrettes de différentes sections avec rainures ; 'la Fig. 2e est une vue en perspective d'un profilé présentant des perforations correspondant aux barrettes des Fig. 2a, 2b, 2c et 2d ; * la Fig. 3 est une vue en perspective d'un panneau pivotant en position horizontale ; * la Fig. 4 est une vue en perspective du panneau de la Fig. 3, en position verticale ;

* la Fig. 6 est une vue en perspective d'une échelle suivant l'invention ; * la Fig. 7 est une vue en perspective d'un plateau pivotant suivant l'invention, placé sur une échelle ; * la Fig. 8 est une vue en perspective d'une fixation d'une tablette métallique.
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
<Desc/Clms Page number 6>

ADJUSTABLE FIXING SYSTEM ON PROFILES
The present invention relates to an axially adjustable fixing system on sections, usable for example for a rack, for a shelf, for a wardrobe, for a tilting shelving, for a scaffolding, for a ladder, etc.
Numerous shelf fixing systems are known in which the positioning of the horizontal element can be modified. The document EP 0 927 533 A1 describes such a system ensuring good rigidity for the assembly, but which requires three different parts adapted to the connection of the horizontal elements to the uprights, as well as to the setting of these connections. These parts have a profile requiring special machining, hence a high cost price.
Other devices as described in US 5, 425, 520 are based on similar general principles, but require the use of screws, nuts or bolts.
It is generally desirable to be able to easily assemble and disassemble such an assembly, in particular in industries requiring complete and frequent cleaning such as the food or pharmaceutical industry.
The object of the invention is to provide a fixing system allowing easy assembly and disassembly, without requiring any tool, and the manufacture of which is simple and inexpensive.
The subject of the invention is an axially adjustable fixing system comprising: * at least one section, the cross section of which has a base and 2 substantially parallel wings, said wings each comprising perforations opposite; * at least one removable bar capable of being inserted into said opposite perforations;
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
means for wedging these bars; at least one tab comprising a support element and a retaining element able to be inserted between the base of the section of a profile and a bar inserted into a pair of perforations facing each other.
The profile may in particular have a section essentially in a U. This profile can be placed vertically, horizontally or obliquely, depending on the use for which the system is intended.
The profile may also consist of two L-shaped sections, the coplanar stems of these L form the base and the wings of these L, arranged in parallel, carry the perforations opposite. The stems of these L are joined in a known manner.
The perforations are preferably circular, but can be, for example, oval, square, rectangular, triangular, buttonhole, etc.
The bar has a section corresponding to that of the perforations and preferably a circular section. The bar rests in the perforations opposite the profile or profiles by means of two grooves formed near the ends of the bar and spaced apart by a length corresponding to the distance between two vis-à-vis perforations. These grooves may extend over the entire periphery of the bar or over only part of it.
The tab, inserted between the bar and the base of the profile or profiles, ensures a decentering of the bar relative to the perforations facing each other, preventing the device from becoming detached. The tab retainer has a length related to the load it is to bear.
A horizontal element can also rest on the bar via the tab.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
An advantage of the invention consists in that the withdrawal of the tab is sufficient to unlock the bar, the disassembly of the assembly therefore being carried out very easily by hand. In addition, the simple weight of the bar is sufficient to ensure its temporary maintenance in position.
Another advantage of the invention lies in the simplicity of manufacture of its constituent elements. The bars can be obtained by cutting a bar, and the grooves obtained by milling. These operations are particularly easy to perform in the case of cylindrical bars.
An additional advantage is that unlike other known assemblies, the parts suffer little frequent assembly and disassembly, which makes it possible to optimize the dimensions of the storage spaces at any time.
Other particularities and advantages of the invention will emerge from the following description of particular embodiments of the invention, reference being made to the appended drawings in which: * FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a fixing comprising an L-shaped tab on a U-shaped profile; * Figs. 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d are perspective views of bars of different sections with grooves; 'Fig. 2e is a perspective view of a profile having perforations corresponding to the bars of FIGS. 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d; * Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a panel swiveling in a horizontal position; * Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the panel of FIG. 3, in vertical position;

* Fig. 6 is a perspective view of a ladder according to the invention; * Fig. 7 is a perspective view of a pivoting tray according to the invention, placed on a ladder; * Fig. 8 is a perspective view of a fixing of a metal shelf.
Fig. 1 shows a binding 1 in which an upright consists of a section 2 with a substantially U-shaped section. The section of this section 2 consists of a middle part (or "base") and two substantially parallel wings. Each wing has circular perforations 3 facing each other, at the same height, on the wings of the profile 2. A cylindrical bar 4, of diameter slightly less than the diameter of the perforations 3, and of length greater than the spacing of the wings of the U, is inserted into two perforations 3 opposite.
The longitudinal setting of the bar 4 is ensured by two grooves 6, formed in the bar 4, dimensioned in such a way that the edge of the perforations 3 can engage there, preventing any longitudinal movement of the bar 4 when the latter is slightly off-center with respect to the perforation 3. The width of the grooves 6 is determined by the thickness of the material from which the profile is made 2. The locking of the bar 4 in such an off-center position is ensured by a tab 5 in L, one of which part defined as "retaining element") is inserted between the base of the U-shaped section and the bar 4.
The other part of the lug 5 (defined as “support element”) is available in particular for receiving a hook in a wardrobe, for fixing
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
of a load, such as a cleat for a shelf board, etc. Depending on the length of the retaining element and the intrinsic rigidity of the tab 5, it is possible to apply a significant axial force to the support element.
Figs. 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d show exemplary embodiments of bars 4 with two grooves 6, the sections of which are respectively circular, triangular, square and rectangular.
Fig. 2e shows the perforations 3 corresponding to these bars 4 in the wing of a profile 2 in L.
Figs. 3 and 4 show an exemplary embodiment allowing a double positioning of a shelf by pivoting around the axis that constitutes the bar 4. The shelf consisting of a panel 7, is sandwiched between the two jaws forming the support element of the tab 8. The retaining element 9 has the shape of an L. When the shelf is in a horizontal position, the shaft of the L presses against the base of the section of the profile 2 and thus prevents the shelf from tilting. It is however possible, by shifting the shelf upwards, to pivot the tab around the bar 4. The shelf can then be folded down as shown in FIG. 4. However, it remains held in place by the lower flap 10 of the retaining element 9.
Fig. 5 shows an exemplary embodiment where the uprights are vertical profiles 2 with L-shaped section, arranged so that the bases of the profiles 2 are coplanar, the wings of the profiles 2 facing each other. The horizontal element 7 consisting of a panel, rests on bars 4 of square section by means of lugs 5 in L. The bars 4 and lugs 5 in L have the spacing required to be inserted respectively in and between profiles 2 in L. These
<Desc / Clms Page number 6>
profiles 2 are here secured in pairs, so as to constitute a simple and stable scaffolding.
Fig. 6 shows an exemplary embodiment where each pair of perforations 3 receives a bar 4 with oval section, allowing a double setting. On each bar 4 is placed a tab 5 in L, of appropriate size with respect to the spacing of the vertical profiles 2, so as to constitute a ladder.
Fig. 7 shows a particular application of the device according to the invention, where a ladder section consists of a section 2 with a C section, provided with perforations 3 in the wings of the section 2. A plate capable of pivoting 11 around a horizontal axis perpendicular to the section 2 with C section, is fixed to the tab 8 which blocks the bar 4 in a pair of perforations 3 opposite. This swivel tray is capable of supporting tools, paint, etc.
Fig. 8 shows an embodiment where the horizontal element is a shelf 7 made of stamped sheet metal.
At the locations corresponding to the different profiles 2, the edge of the shelf 7 has cutouts spaced apart so as to provide, between the cutouts, a tongue 9, the end of which can be inserted between the base of the U and a bar 4.
