Abstract
A calcium aluminate powder is mixed with water and with a powder or granule of a product insoluble in water, but melting between 700 and 1400.degree.C and silica of any particle size. The mixture, once hardened, is heated between 700 ent 1400.degree.C. The product obtained has increased hardness, cohesion and impermeability compared to calcium aluminate without addition. The product obtained is different in its appearance, its formula, its crystallization and its properties compared to calcium aluminate.
Description
lza3~

The present invention relates to a product obtained from some calcium.
The aluminate of ~ ~ lcil ~ gives, with water of ~ h ~ o ~
a hard but non-cohesive mass and F ~ rm ~ hle / because, p ~ r drying, there are pores that l ~ iq ~ s ~ nt water droplets ~ lo ~ q in the mass and evaporated.
This is the purpose ~ Pn ~ ral of the present invention of ~ l ~ -L ~ L
hardness, coh ~ i ~ n, 1'1r ~ er ~ hility and the appearance of cement has base of ~ min ~ te of ~ Al ~ m ~ and to obtain a product which is refrac-shut up and that allows a mpil ~ ellr ~ mRi ~ age. According to the invention, onmixing in the dry state a powder of ~ ll ~; n ~ calcium te with a powder or granulate of a product; n ~ lllhle in water and melting between . 700 and 1400C and, preferably, silica of any kind ~ nlll ~ n ~ sort.
The oh adds the mixing water and the ~ l ~ nge is allowed to harden ~
room temperature. Then the mass, once hardened, is es1 cooked at a ~ eL ~ Lul ~ between 700 and 1400 &. The product: ~ nqo ~ llhle in the water serves as the background ~ nt.
Uncured mPl ~ n ~ e is placed in molds to obtain blocks in the form of plates or any other form. The blocks, once hardened and before c ~ n, can be covered with email which spreads very evenly ~ "~ l ~ lL during cooking.
