3 ~ l The subject of the invention is a barrel mechanism in particular for controlling an axial piston pump.
Such a mechanism, known for a long time been described for example in Canadian patent 987,171 of 13 S April 1976 of the same company. It includes, inside a housing, a swivel mounted control part on two fixed bearings defining an axis of rotation. The piece of ~. ~ mn ~ n ~ l ~ is provided with a plate inclined relative to the axis of rotation on which a barrel rests rises swiveling on the control part around an axis clines with respect to the axis of rotation and cuts it in a center of oscillation of the barrel. The axis of rotation of the barrel is defined by a bearing integral with the part control, in the center of the tray inclines. The piece of foxme control thus a rotor driven by a motor around its axis of rotation and which gives the barrel a movement of nu ~ .ation around the center of oscillation, the barrel being blocked in rotation by a connecting rod. The pis-pump tones, distributed regularly around the axis of rotation rely on the barrel either directly or in large pumps, via connecting rods provided with ball heads ~ The ~ fforts exerted by the pis-tones on the barrel are transmitted to the control room by an axial stop interposed between the barrel and the oblique plate. The control part leans on itself on a fixed plate via a second stop axial interposed between the fixed plate and a straight plate integral with the control panel and perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The fixed plate thus resumes, by through the two axial stops, the parallel forces the axes of rotation applied by the pistons on the barrel whose nutation movement ~ controlled by the rotation of the control part, determines the movement back and forth of the pump pistons.
~ V ~
- the ~
The housing ~ the interior of which is mounted the seems to support the two journaling bearings of the control part and the fixed plate.
To lighten the casing, we proposed, in the Canadian Patent 987,171 mentioned above, to link the two crankcase bottoms by a prestressed tie rod before the commissioning so as to take up the efforts applied by the barrel on the fixed plate and therefore the casing. In a particular embodiment, pulling it prestressed goes inside a tubular spacer which takes up the prestressing effort and which defines other share the axis of rotation of the control piece.

-The invention has for ob ~ and improvements per-putting to simplify the assembly of a mechanism of this type.
On the other hand, the prestressing of the central tie determines, in the pump which has just been described, a service rage of the axial abutment for supporting the control part which better withstands the alternating thrust and traction forces tion resulting from the operation of the pump. However, therefore, it is not possible to adjust the tightening force of the stop; The invention remedies this drawback by proposing 0 Ull tightening of the stop independent of the pre-drawstring.
However ~ the improvements brought about by the present invention do not only apply to pumps pes in accordance with the French patent but, generally also have ~ for t ~ vpe barrel pumps, other previews which will be explained later.
According to the present invention, there is provided a barrel mechanism for a piston pump, makes room for the inside of a housing comprising two bottoms connected by a central column, respectively a first bottom, on which the pump and a second bottom are fixed, said mechanism taking: a swivel mounted control part around an axis of rotation, through two sides liers on the central column, an oblique plate ~ enage ~ 5 on the control piece perpendicular to an axis wink ~ relative to the axis of rotation and concurrent with this one, a barrel rises revolving around the axis tilt and lock in rotation ~ said barrel receiving forces parallel to the axis of rotation and bearing on the oblique plate via an axial stop, a fixed plate on which the control part is supported through a second axial stop, a rod central connects the two crankcase bottoms and subjected to a prestressing effort to resume efforts - 2a -wall lights, mechanism in which the tray fixed is fixed at the end of the rotated central column towards the second bottom of the casing and the control part is applied cont ~ e the fixed plate by a clamping means elastic resting on the other end of the column central, said column forming with the control part and the barrel a compact assembly capable of being mounted and dismount as a block inside the casing, the latter being provided with removable fixing means for the column.
In a particular embodiment, the means clamping the control piece includes a sleeve mounted sliding at the end of the rocket fitted with a circular stop crushing area of a spring washer against a support ring integral with the control piece and a nut of the sleeve engaging on a household thread on the end of the rocket.
The invention will be better understood in view of the following description of a particular embodiment, gives by way of nonlimiting example ~ and represents on the annex drawing.
Figure 1 shows, in axial section, a m ~ canism ~ arillet perfe tioned according to the invention, Figure 2 shows, in axial section, another embodiment.
2S The entire mechanism is mounted inside a casing 1 which consists of two bottoms 11 and 12 connected by a side wall 13 ~ The two bottoms 11 and 12 must be very rigid but, as indicated, if we uses a prestressed central tie rod according to BF 2 211 090 the side wall 13 has no role of resistance and can so be very light.
On llun ~ es funds 12 is mounted the pump 2 of which we represented one pistons 21.
The two funds 11 and 12 of the casing are on the other hand connected at their center.
be by a central column 3 forming a channel and on which is all mounted furrowing a hollow part 4 forming the control part of the mechanism. AT
5 this effect, the control parts ~ I rotate on two supported bearings by the: Eusée 3. L ~ ln of these bearings 41 is mounted at the end of the rocket 3 facing the pump 2. The other bearing 32 is mounted on the periphery of a plate 33 formed on the end of the rocket facing the other bottom 11 of the housing.
The bearing 31 is mounted inside an axial bore 41 formed at the corresponding end of the cornice piece 4. However, this one is centered on the other bearing 32 by means of a ring gear 42 integral with the control part 4 and on which a pinion meshes 43 which receives the movement of the motor.
The pistons 21 of the pump are connected to the barrel 5 by connecting rods 22 fitted with ball joints 23.
The barrel is mounted journalled relative to the part 24 on a bearing 51 defining the axis of rotation 50 This is inclined relative to at the axis of rotation 10 of the control part and the two axes intersect 20 at point 0 which constitutes the center of oscillation of the barrel. Indeed, this one this is connected to the housing 2 ~ at a location not located in the plane of the figure, by a connecting rod which prevents the barrel from turning around the axis lo but however allows it to oscillate around the center 0 following the movements of its axis of rotation 50 which describes a cone of vertex 0 when the pinion 25 43 determines the rotation of the control part 4.
The barrel 5 is supported on an inclined plate 40 formed on the part control 4 perpendicular to the axis 50, via a bu-axial tee 52 for example of the needle type which makes it possible to transmit to the control piece 4 the forces applied to the barrel by the pistons 21 30 and the connecting rods 22 without interfering with the journaling of the barrel on its bearing 51.
The forces collected by the control part 4 are transmitted to the plate.
fixed plate 33 by means of an axial stop 44 interposed between the fixed plate 33 and a straight plate 45 formed at the end of the piece of control 4 facing towards the bottom 11 and perpendicular to the axis of rotation 10 ~
In the case where a prestressed tie rod is used according to the French patent cais n 2.21l.090 this consists of a central rod 14 passing in an axial bore of the rocket 3 and the latter is supported at its ends on the Londs 11 and 12 keys of the casing and thus constitutes a spacer bulaire of resumption of the prestressing efforts.
~ 37 ~
~ insi, according to a first characteristic of the invention, aWhile, in the arrangements known so far, the control piece 4 is puyait directly on the bottom 11 of the housing, according to the inventioTl, the stop a-xial 44 of the control part is supported by a fixed platform on 5 the rocket 3.
According to an au ~ re characteristic, the rocket is provided at its other extremi-te of a means 6 key tightening of the stop. This consists of a sleeve 61 sliding axially along a cylindrical surface 3 ~ arranged in the former hopper: é of the rocket 3. The sleeve 61 is provided with a circular stop 62 which 10 is used to crush a round ~ lle ~ elastic 63 against a circular ring 64 pre-bearing on the control part 4 by means of a stop guilles 65. In the embodiment shown, the stop 65 rests on the outer cage of the bearing 31 of the control part.
I, the tightening of the sleeve 61 is determined by a nut 66 which engages on 15 a thread 35 formed at the end of the control piece 4, beyond the cylindrical seat 34.
I, nut 66 therefore makes it possible to determine, by means of the elastic washer 63 a controlled clamping force of the axial stop 44 Furthermore ~ a second nut 7 makes it possible to exert a clamping force 20 of labuté 52 of barrel by crushing an elastic washer 71 against a circular ring 72 resting on the b ~ rillet via a bu-tee 73.
As just indicated, the bearing 31 is maintained by the ~ n tightening 6.
Advantageously, the internal cage of the other bearing 32 of the part control consists of the fixed cage of the axial stop 44 for supporting the straight plate 45 on the fixed plate 33.
In a variant, shown in FIG. 2, the axial stops 44 and 52 are constituted by tapered roller bearings 44 'and 52'.
In this case, it is possible to delete the bearing 32 whose role centering of the control part 4 is ensured by the roller bearing 44 ' conical whose axes are inclined relative to the axis of rotation 10 Bearings 31 and 51 are also replaced by roller bearings conical guilles Ljl ~ and 51 '.
This arrangement makes it possible to simplify assembly by eliminating the delle eldsticl-le 63, the circular support ring 64 and the stop 65.
rn e ~ effect, dclllS ce second embodiment, the sliding sleeve 61 tight (by nut 66 rests directly on the inner ring of the bearing 3l 'of which the outer ring is blocked on the control panel L which ~ 2 ~ 3 ~
thus collects the tightening force and transmits it to the fixed plate 33.
The bearing 31 'consists of a stack of needle bearings conical inclined with respect to the axis 10. Because of this inclination, the axial clamping force determines an elastic radial deformation of the outer rings and the control panel ~.
In the same way, at the bearing ~ ', the inclination of the wheels tapered cones which transmit the axial force to the inner ring and the fixed plate 33 determines a radial deformation of the outer ring and the control panel 4.
This elastic deformation of the bearings and the control part 4 thus plays the role of the elastic washer 63 which can be removed.
It is the same for tightening the barrel 5 on the inclined plate 40.
~ n effect, the bearing 51 and the axial stop 52 are constituted by 5L 'and 52' inclined tapered roller bearings. Therefore, the effort of axial tightening exerted by nut 7 on the inner ring of the tapered bearing 51 ′ and transmitted to the inclined plate 40 determines an elastic radial deformation tick bearings and barrel 5 which plays the role of the elastic washer that 71 which can also be deleted.
The use of tapered bearings therefore allows a simplification no-mechanism table.
In these two embodiments, thanks to the arrangements which come to be described, the rocket 3 forms with the control part 4 and the barrel 5 a compact assembly held by the clamping sleeve 61 and the nut 6 ~.
In this way, we can assemble this set in the workshop and adjust the tightening of axial stops. This forms a compact mechanical block which is placed inside the housing L, the end of the ~ worn 3 placed on the side of the pump coming to engage in an opening 15 formed on the bottom 12 of the casing, more precisely on the end of a ~ tubular tretoise 25 placed in the axis of the pump 2. The mechanical assembly carried by the rocket 3 is thus maintained between the two fon ~ s 11 ~ t 12 of the housing.
The tie rod 14 is then placed inside the rocket 3 and the intermediate height rod 25 then energized and locked by a nut 17. The pre-stress of the tie l4 is collected by the rocket 3 and the spacer 25 c (es in the extension of one another. The mechanical assembly mounted on the rocket 3 is widened, thus perfectly fixed between the two bottoms 11 and 12 of the casing, or can set up the heads of the connecting rods 22 and 24 on the barrel-let 5.
The assembly of the assembly is thus considerably simplified thanks to the arrangements according to the inventlon which make it possible to carry out in the workshop all the mechanism settings.
Similarly, in the event of damage, it is easy, after dismantling the central tie 14, remove the mechanical assembly and replace it with a set of rec ~ lange pays in advance.
Of course, the invention: ion is not limited to the details of the modes of realization which have just been described and which one could modify in particular-ment by the use of equivalent means. This is how we could use use appropriate type thrust bearings and bearings in place of the bearings with conical or cylindrical rollers which have been described.
~ n further, as already indicated, the invention has been described in special case of a mechanism where the two crankcase bottoms are connected by a prestressed tie, but the arrangements according to the invention have the same benefits for other types of barrel pumps.
