Abstract

MOTOR GERADOR RESFRIADO A AR E MÉTODO PARA OPERAR TAL MOTOR GERADOR. A presente invenção refere-se a um motor gerador resfriado a ar (10) que compreende um rotor (34) com um eixo de rotor (11) que é arranjado de maneira rotativa ao redor de uma linha de centro de máquina (15) e sobre o qual um enrolamento de rotor (16) é arranjado, um estator (35) com uma pilha laminada de estator (18) e um enrolamento de estator (17) arranjado nela, que circunda o enrolamento de rotor (16) de maneira concêntrica, um circuito de resfriamento fechado que opera com ar de resfriamento (24) que é fornecido, com ar de resfriamento em dito circuito de resfriamento escoando através do enrolamento de rotor (16) e o enrolamento de estator (17) radialmente a partir do interior para fora, dito ar de resfriamento sendo resfriado em resfriadores (19) arranjados fora do estator (35) e sendo alimentado de volta para o rotor (34). Resfriamento que pode ser mudado antes ou durante operação é conseguido em uma maneira simples, em virtude do fato que dispositivos de estrangulamento ajustáveis são fornecidos para ajustar o escoamento em volume do ar de resfriamento no circuito de resfriamento ou nos resfriadores (19).
