Abstract

método de monitoramento da proteção catódica, instalação subaquática e instalação de extração de hidrocarbonos. esta invenção refere-se a um método de monitoramento de proteção catódica de um item localizado embaixo d'água em uma instalação, a instalação incluindo ainda um meio de processamento, que compreende os passos de prover um par do primeiro e do segundo eletrodos, o primeiro eletrodo estando conectado eletricamente ao item e o segundo eletrodo estando em contato com a água próxima ao item, medindo o potencial entre o primeiro e o segundo eletrodos, produzindo um sinal elétrico indicativo do nível de proteção catódica, convertendo o sinal em um formato de comunicações compatível com o meio de processamento e passando-o para o meio de processamento, e transmitindo o sinal convertido do meio de processamento para uma localização de superfície.
