Abstract

PNEUMáTICO. Um pneumático de veículo radial apresentando uma tira metálica posicionada em lugar de um reforçador tradicional, a tira metálica localizada entre uma porção principal de carcaça e uma porção de movimento circular. A camada de tira metálica podendo ser composta de uma fibra de carbono talhada e de uma camada elastomérica reforçada com composto de aramida. As paredes laterais do pneu apresentam uma altura radial SH e uma largura de seção SW localizada dentro de uma faixa de 1,016cm a 1,1176cm da altura radial da parede lateral SH medida a partir do núcleo de talão. A largura da seção SW pode se localizar ainda dentro de uma faixa de 0,254 cm a 0,762 cm a partir de uma extremidade radialmente em sentido para fora da camada de tira metálica em uma direção radial. A banda de rodagem pode compreender da construção de uma camada dual, apresentando uma primeira camada formada radialmente em sentido para dentro formada de um composto de resistência ao rolamento relativamente baixa e de uma segunda camada radialmente em sentido para fora formada de um composto contendo sílica.
