Abstract

MéTODO DE INERTIZAçãO PARA IMPEDIR INCêNDIOS. A presente invenção refere-se a um método de inertização para impedir incêndio ou explosão em uma área protegida fechada em que o conteúdo de oxigênio na área protegida é diminuído com relação ao ar ambiente. Com o objetivo de permitir a proteção efetiva contra o incêndio mesmo dadas as emissões de gás a partir de sólidos ou líquidos dentro da área protegida, quando substâncias e/ou gases inflamáveis estão presentes na área protegida fechada (por exemplo hidrocarbonetos), o método de acordo com a invenção fornece regulagem do conteúdo de oxigênio na área protegida fechada como uma função da concentração de ditos gases inflamáveis.
