Abstract

MéTODOS E APARELHOS PARA DETERMINAR UMA MEDIDA REPRESENTANDO TAXA DE TRANSFERENCIA DE UMA CéLULA RáDIO PARA UM TERMINAL RáDIO, PARA SUPORTAR SELEçãO DE CéLULA RáDIO PARA UM TERMINAL RáDIO CIRCUNDADO POR VáRIAS CéLULAS RáDIO, E PARA SUPORTAR TRANSFERêNCIA INTERCELULAR PARA UM TERMINAL RáDIO CIRCUNDADO POR VáRIAS CéLULAS RáDIO. Um aparelho em um terminal de rádio (MS) determina uma medida representando a taxa de transferência de uma célula rádio para o terminal. O aparelho inclui unidades (SINR- 1,..., SINT-4) para determinar várias medidas de qualidade de sinal de sinais piloto recebidos de e associado com várias antenas na célula rádio. Uma unidade de soma (SUM) combina vários de tais medidas de qualidade de sinal em uma medida de taxa de transferência combinada associada com a célula rádio Tais medidas combinadas são determinadas por várias células de rádio cercando o terminal. Outras meios (MEN, SEL, TH) selecionam células de rádio associada com as medidas de taxa de transferência combinadas que suporta uma taxa de transferência pré-determinada com candidata a comunicação com a terminal. As medidas selecionadas são reportadas ao controlador de rede de rádio e usadas para seleção de célula ou transferência intercelular.
